Non-free use disputed for File:AmadeoCarrizo.jpg
Thanks for uploading :File:AmadeoCarrizo.jpg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. You can request undeletion Thank you.<!-- Template:No fair --> --Gh87 (talk) 08:15, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 04:20, 16 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Welcome back

Is great to see you back, I really hope you are here to stay. Regards --Bocafan76 (talk) 20:17, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, I'm still considering my options. I doubt I'll ever be as active as I was before, I've got a lot of commitments elsewhere. But it would seem a shame to leave at 1,413 articles.... I should at least get to 1,500 eh? King of the North East 20:20, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Even if you come back only part time, it is better than none at all. I think 1,500 is a nice number, but I really hope you get to 2,000 or perhaps more, anyways as stated before it is Great to have you back. I also would like to say that you are and were the inspiration to a lot of us at the Wikipedia:WikiProject Argentine football, without you that project might not even exit, so thank you for all the time and effort you have put into it. Regards--Bocafan76 (talk) 20:47, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Idem Bocafan. Argentine football missed you. Fache (talk) 23:43, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just saw you on my watchlist. Welcome back! -- Alexf(talk) 10:05, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Transfermark

Please, do not use the site as a reference. It just a community site just like wikipedia. I often found their transfer fee was wrong (and often had a wrong transfer record). Please use a news/article reported by reliable media instead. Matthew_hk tc 11:09, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

 • I don't recall ever using it as a reference, but I do occasionally add the Transfermarkt profile in the External links section as it often contains more data on Argentine players than the usual reliable sources which are heavily restricted by pay walls. 13:10, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

HI, I've nominated this for TFD. It can easily be replaced by infobox settlements. Hope this is OK by you.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:27, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No worries - I've restored it. Bizarrrely someone translated what you wrote exactly into Spanish (or at least that what it looks like to me), and then it seems to have been copied by this website directly from Wikipedia (as it still includes the citation numbers and the Infobox coding!). Hello King! I have a doubt about the date of birth of this famous coach. In en.wiki it appears that he was born on 1936, while in es.wiki it appears that he was born on 1937. In your opinion, which is the "truth" about this matter? I know that it's always very difficult to research data regarding former South American players and coach, anyway, if you know something more, please, inform me! --VAN ZANT (talk) 21:08, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

According to the usually reliable Historia de boca it is 1936 Regards King of the North East 22:04, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

Could you please tell me how many football player articles you have created so far? Thank you in advance. BineMai 21:40, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not much idea, I haven't really kept track as well as I would have liked but certainly more than 656 biographies. I am most proud of some of the retired player articles that did not even have comprehensive profiles in any Spanish language sources. I have aslo added infoboxes, references additional stats and prose to thousands more biographies that were not written comprehensively or accurately in the first place. I am virtually retired now. Can I ask why you are interested? King of the North East 00:50, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response. The reason i asked is because i saw many footballer articles from South America started by you and i was simply curious. BineMai 17:06, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again King. I'm glad to see you're still editing and very happy you improved this article. I started a couple articles about Jewish Argentine footballers after noticing their entries in a book, but I didn't do a good job of researching their entire careers. I'm going to take another shot at improving them, but I'm glad you improved this one. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 02:52, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Footy

Hi, it´s allways so great to see you! Many thanks for your kind words and your proposal is interesting. I doubt that anything will come out from there, but I was really hoping I would get some sort of green-light for temporarily turning the infoboxes to old format while clerly incomplete at begining. Strangely, people reacted as if I was proposing some crime... :) FkpCascais (talk) 12:22, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
