Unless sources and documentation are provided, this page is worthless. I would worry about that before trying to improve other parts of the article. Unless someone can find the original source material or replicate these data, this page should be taken down. --- Guest

==Errors==

The graphs show a number of errors:
Taft was a Republican, not a Democrat.
The Senate was Democrat all through the Reagan years.
The President colours are wrong from 1889 to 1897.

Use of Page

The title of the page "United States presidents and control of congress" appears to be at odds with the content of the page, which seems to be more focused on the relationship between control of Congress and Historical Approval Rating. Either the title needs to be changed, or the content needs to be more in line with the descriptor. — mrmaroon25 (talk contribs) 21:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{cleanup}} since January 2007

  • References to presidents are slangy (Bush I and II) or inconsistent with other WP articles (LBJ)
  • Not fully wikilinked
  • Intro needs reworking
  • TOC / sectioning would be great
  • Can we get a link/refernce to the Wall Street Journal poll cited?

Agree. In addition, the "c" in the word "Congress" should be capitalized in the article's title. Funnyhat 01:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
