Hi MacMed. I wonder if you wouldn't mind please considering withdrawing this deletion nomination. Per my and others' comments, Solis Olguin amply meets any reasonable notability criteria—indeed you might say an article on him is overdue. The tragic farce of the credulous news reports on the circumstances of his death is an unfortunate distraction, those circumstances are not what he is notable for and nor should they be what the article is about. Hopefully we'll correct this imbalance soon and give his article and extensive career the due coverage it deserves; but in the meantime I hope you'll see fit to withdraw the deletion nom soon.
