Taixing is in China's Jiangsu Province. It is located in the Yangtze River Delta. It is a newly developed coastal industrial city. The area of Taxing is 1253 square kilometres and the population is 1.29 million.

It has a history of more than thousand years and it has been named as Home of Gingko, Home of Construction, and Home of Education. It has been awarded the title of Chinese Star City, and Chinese Top 100 Cities In Comprehensive Forces.
