Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is the largest supermarket chain in Iceland, and having an article about the largest supermarket chain follows precedent, including the UK, the USA, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Italy etcTbf69 10:48, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Tbf69: while being the 'largest' anything may be a claim of importance, it certainly isn't evidence of notability; if this speedy request is declined, the article remains exposed on notability grounds, as a single (working) source is nowhere near enough to establish notability per WP:GNG / WP:ORGCRIT. If you wish to save this, please add more and better sources. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:52, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
