Don't use your sandbox as attribution
Linking pages as a form of attribution is done since it's expected that an article will remain in mainspace for a long period of time. This does not apply to user sandboxes. Unless you plan on freezing your sandbox and make no further removals from it (which I doubt), you are highly recommended not to link to your sandbox as a form of attribution (especially without providing a permanent link, as you did here) as the content there is expected to be moved, replaced, or deleted. As an alternative, you can instead insert content with a list of authors or link to the original season page and waive attribution entirely (but this only applies if you are the sole editor of the newly-added content, like in this edit). <span style="background:#ffff55">Chlod</span>&nbsp;<small style="font-size:calc(1em - 2pt)">(say&nbsp;hi!)</small> 02:16, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Mindy

Good day! I have noticed recent edits for citations on Tropical Storm Mindy (2021). These edits were reversed initially because they were different events, thus different sources. I’m trying to understand why you are replacing it with the first source using this database. Thanks! IrishSurfer21 (talk) 13:14, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Citing_sources#Repeated_citations HurricaneEdgar 13:16, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I’ve read that before and that makes sense, however, these sources differentiate slightly and I’ve seen from other articles each event is given its own citation? I’m not fully sure of policies about that since I’m new here.IrishSurfer21 (talk) 13:32, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Hurricane Agatha

On 17 June 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hurricane Agatha, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Hurricane Agatha was the strongest Pacific hurricane to make landfall in Mexico in May since records began in 1949? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hurricane Agatha. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Hurricane Agatha), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Bonnie's image

Hi Hurricane Edgar, I suggest we use the image taken at 20:00 UTC on July 5, 2022 instead the one taken at 20:20 UTC on July 4, 2022, because at the time Bonnie had winds at 85 knots that image was taken according to the Best Track data and if Bonnie is currently peaking that isn't within 5 percent that more like 15 percent so we can't use "near peak intensity", just giving you a heads up man, cheers. Cyclonetracker7586 (talk) 01:04, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Cyclonetracker7586, In the best track they are currently discussing regarding the best track, see Talk:2022_Atlantic_hurricane_season#Bonnie_peak_intensity HurricaneEdgar 01:08, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Revert Edits. 2022 Luzon quake

Hi I would like to feedback regarding your revert edits on my edits to the page 2022 Luzon quake. Please don't easily revert edits. I suggest that: 1.) You can ask for it to be improved rather using [better source needed] template if you don't agree with the current source. 2.) Or better, if in doubt, you can verify or look for other sources yourself. 3.) Be considerate since other editors just might be having problems editing in their mobiles.

Thank you. Jp2593 (talk) 09:02, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jp259, 1.) I've reverted because Wikipedia does consider Youtube a reliable source see Wikipedia:RSPYT 2.) I don't see on google in your add claim. such as Iglesia Filipina Independiente Church, were also affected. 3.) Wikipedia is not a newspaper see WP:NOTNEWS HurricaneEdgar 09:11, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thyphoon Ma-on 2022

I think Ma-on already dissipated, the weather as of today is sunny (on some areas in Luzon maybe). SeanJ 2007 (talk) 08:17, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In the weastern pacific (monitor by the JMA) we are use JMA estimeted whether were formed or disspated. Take note: the JMA continue monitor this system as a tropical depression. (see weather maps) HurricaneEdgar 08:39, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
