Dispute
Should be discussed in the talk page. I have restored the spelling that source used. If you still Have disagreement you are free to raise the issue on The talk page. don't edit war. Regards. --DBigXrayᗙ 08:58, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

- The first source is WRONG, (that's why I changed it!) but the second is correct. I am a retired professional proofreader. If you're not sure about something e.g. spelling, do a Google search before jumping to conclusions. Now they are both wrong, instead of none, after my change/s. Editrite! (talk) 09:39, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
- how can you call it wrong when Cambridge dictionary uses the spelling that I had added. --DBigXrayᗙ 10:05, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
Apparently, the reference you have found believe it to be optional, as you have seen. I have seen others that say "convener", which is technically more correct, since convene is the verb and you just add an "r" to form the noun,(which makes more sense) instead of changing the spelling. Anyway, all's well that ends well, as I see someone else has changed it back. Editrite! (talk) 22:20, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Actually...
Kobayashi was also a nine-time world runner-up. I was counting the right table, but the wrong column. Pretty dumb of me, but not as dumb as confusing Japan with Earth. Anyway, just clearing that up. Thanks for settling the score, regardless of how it almost quintupled. InedibleHulk (talk) 02:05, 27 November 2019 (UTC)

I'm curious to know why you removed my addition. It's factually correct and was the only cited example of his work in his later years. Michael Schlesinger aka Cadavra8Cadavra8 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:47, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
I think you've messaged the wrong editor. All I did, was delete one word "with" in the Personal life section, and changed one other word "of" in the Film and television career section, both grammar issues, which were mistakenly reverted by another editor anyway. Editrite! (talk) 07:43, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
Hmm, okay, thanks, I'll check again. Cadavra8 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:28, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Changed the date on the article
Hey, do you have a source for the death date being 25/3 and not 29/3? thanks 176.231.6.101 (talk) 08:43, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Go to the March 25 listing in Deaths of 2020 and check out the source. Editrite! (talk) 08:56, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alan Hewitt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dennis the Menace. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:29, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Virginia V. Ahern
Thanks for you note. Belated as my seeing it is, you are correct, I made a mistake in the name. It should be Mary Virginia Ahern, or Mary V. Ahern. How can this be corrected? _ _ _ _ 83d40m (talk) 08:50, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
- Do you not remember how you created the article in the first place? Editrite! (talk) 09:15, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Yes, I remember how I created the article. I have corrected the text, but am not sure of how to change a title. I guess you do not know either. Perhaps, I should create an article with the correct name and use a "move" to make the correction, I will try that. _ _ _ _ 83d40m (talk) 13:27, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Well, I stumbled through it, making another mistake before discovering the correct method, however. Saw a note that a bot will clean up behind me, so perhaps it all will be ironed out correctly. Greatly appreciate the WP bots! Thanks again. _ _ _ _ 83d40m (talk) 14:34, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Nancy McCredie
Hello! Where did you find reference to Nancy McCredie's death? I can't find anything backing that up. -- Zanimum (talk) 10:58, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. I spend much of my time sorting out inconsistencies in Wiki articles. In this case, someone had changed the info box but not the text to match. I normally check that any change is properly sourced, but in my hurry may not have. Since you messaged me, I too have had trouble finding sources, apart from Dead People which I believe is not reliable. There is also Olympedia, which I usually find is reliable. However, if you are not comfortable with that, or you know otherwise, I'm happy if you want to change it back. Editrite! (talk) 01:29, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

The section you asked about was not referenced, and an article supposed to be on the Main page has to have everything referenced. The German Wikipedia, from where it was translated, seems to be less strict. I removed it altogether. You can bring it back with an independent reference if you find one, - I have enough concerns already. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:42, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
