| Description |
Deutsch: Ostnordostansicht der ehemaligen Klosterkirche der Dominikanerinnen „St. Peter an der Sperr“ in der niederösterreichischen Bezirkshauptstadt Wiener Neustadt. Die Kirche wurde im 3. Viertel des 14. Jahrhunderts errichtet. 1768 wurde sie bei einem Erdbeben stark beschädigt. In weiterer Folge wurde die Kirche geschlossen und profaniert. Weitere Beschädigung erfolgten beim Stadtbrand 1834, wo das Gewölbe einstürzte, und 1944 durch Bombentreffer. 1965/66 wurde die ehemalige Kirche nach Plänen von Wilhelm Zotti restauriert und als Ausstellungshalle adaptiert. |
