Deutsch: Innenansicht der Stiftskirche in der steiermärkischen Marktgemeinde Vorau. Die Stiftskirche mit beiderseitigem Kapellenkranz wurde von Propst Matthias Singer nach Abbrechung der alten gotisierten Basilika nach Plänen von Domenico Sciassia unter Belassung der Türme von 1660 bis 1662 von Grund auf neu errichtet. Durch die verschwenderische Freskenfülle, die überreiche Vergoldung aller Holzskulpturen und vor allem der prunkvollen Ausstattung des Hochaltars zählt sie zu den glanzvollsten Barockkirchen der Steiermark. |
