Summary[edit]
I, Michael Teige, took this photograph of the fence that separates Mexico and San Diego USA at the point where it runs into the sea at the westernmost point. Note that the fence as of 7th October 2007 no longer runs as far into the sea as it once did and can be easily walked around at low tide. The lone pole visible in the water beyond the fence is where the fence used to extend to. The last few sections are not capped and one can squeeze through the beams to either side rather easily, all the time under the watchful eye of the US border patrol.
