Description
English: The U.S. Senate met and continued debate on the National Competitiveness Act and the General Aviation Revitalization Act and began debate on the Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act. Only the General Aviation Revitalization Act passed a vote by 91 yeas to 8 nays. The National Competitiveness Act returned to the Senate Calendar for future consideration. Following the completion of the day’s business the Senate stood in recess until 9am the following morning.
