English: Scanning electron microscopy images (SEM) were correlated with fluorescence signal of the Poribacteria specific 16S rRNA probe POR1130 (red; Alexa546) localising Poribacteria cells within the sponge Aplysina aerophoba in close proximity to sponge cells at ultrastructure resolution.
