English: Portrait study of John More. Black and coloured chalks on paper, 38.1 × 28.1 cm, Royal Collection, Windsor. John More (1508–47) was Sir Thomas More's only son. This drawing is one of seven surviving studies drawn by Holbein for his group portrait of Thomas More's family. In the family portrait, John More stands, hatless, near his betrothed, Anne Cresacre, whom Holbein also sketched.
