Description
English: The Italo Petroleum Corporation was originally charged with trying to defraud investors, saddle them with heavy losses over the failed purchase of another oil company. The fraud was allegedly conducted through letters mailed to the investors, hence the charge of mail fraud. Justice Gavin Craig, former political figure Helen Werner, and political lobbyist Joseph Weinblatt were all tried for attempting to bribe the U.S. Attorney General on behalf of the Italo Petroleum Corp.
