Brady Phillips (right), company commander with Company G, 1st Battalion, 189th Aviation Regiment, during a mobilization ceremony, January 27, in Salem, Oregon. Approximately 70 Soldiers in the unit are scheduled to deploy to the Middle East where they will provide aeromedical support throughout the Persian Gulf region using Blackhawk helicopters. The guidon will hang in the governor’s office during the deployment and will be returned to the unit upon their return to Oregon.
