English: The posterior part of KUVP 247, a cartilaginous skeleton of Cretoxyrhina mantelli. The specimen was found in the Late Cretaceous Niobrara Chalk. Photo taken at the University of Kansas Museum of Natural History in Lawrence, Kansas.
