English: Site of Abbots Ripton station, East Coast Main Line, 1991. View southward, towards Huntingdon and London on the electrified ECML, King's Cross - Doncaster ex-GNR section. IN 1991 there was absolutely nothing left of the station, which was closed to passengers from 15/9/58, along with many other ECML wayside stations, to allow faster running of express trains on double-track sections, but goods was accepted here until 5/10/64. |
