DescriptionA far view of the inner gate of Gobindgarh Fort (25064747588).jpg
I stepped back a bit to take this slightly far view of the third inner gate of Gobindgarh Fort in Amritsar. Note that there is a sentry on either side of the entrance gate, like the lions guarding the entrance of buildings in Hong Kong! And no, those are not real men, just dummies, in the garb of the historic Sikh regiment. They do add to the atmosphere to the place, an effect probably enhanced by the darkness and the lighting. This is the last gate when we enter the Gobindgarh fort. We are now well over a kilometer from the street entrance and we have made one 90° right turn. Here now is a 92° left turn.
