Summary

Description
English: One of two "data booths" for Battery Laidley at Fort De Soto Park. Sightings from two observation positions were relayed to the data booths -- one for each of the two "pits" which each contained four coastal defense mortars; shown is the booth for Pit "A". The board on the right shows the proper elevation and azimuth for the guns to be aimed correctly. (Source: Fort De Soto Historic Guide)
