Description
English: A celebration by University of Houston students during the first school day following the defeat of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane by the 1952 Houston Cougars football team. It was Houston's homecoming game. Students blocked entry into the Roy G. Cullen Building, and declared the day a holiday for the university. Walter W. Kemmerer, then President of the University of Houston, condoned the event.
