There are at least two problems with this category: 1) There are bird articles that clearly have no photo and need one (are there any that don't) that have not been included. 2) There are also many that do have photos yet are included. Agree, 11 years later. This category page is basically useless until these tags get cleaned up (ideally with a bot, since it will be a lot of work otherwise). According to the Image Existence Checker tool, some 3,500 of the 5,000 or so pages listed here do indeed have images. Manual spot checking appears to confirm this.
