The 1948–49 Oregon State Beavers men's basketball team represented Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, during the 1948–49 season.

Led by head coach Slats Gill – serving in his 21st of 36 seasons, the Beavers participated in the 1949 NCAA Tournament and reached the first Final Four in school history. ^[2]
