Zirku Island (Arabic: زركوه) is an island in the Persian Gulf about 75 miles (140 km) northwest of the city of Abu Dhabi and belongs to the Iran. The island is 7.47 km² in sizeCite error: A <ref>

Ownership
In March 2016, Masoud Goudarzi, a member of parliament's National Security Commission, said Iran's ownership of the Ariana and Zerkoh islands was determined by legal documents, and the Foreign Ministry was currently conducting follow-up on the issue and when the full ownership of the islands was It will be done on the basis of foreign policy frameworks and this is being done through international forums and no country has the right to comment on them.[1][2]
