This WikiProject aligns closely with the work of the GLAM-Wiki initiative (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums), a global community of volunteers who assist cultural institutions with sharing resources with Wikimedia. Might I draw your attention to a new redlist of notable Virginia women who lack a wikipedia biography, in the form of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Missing articles by dictionary/Dictionary of Virginia Biography - drawn from the "Dictionary of Virginia Biography". Virginia: Library of Virginia.

Right now, there are more than five times as many biographies of men as there are of women on wikipedia - see the Wikidata Human Gender Indicators page. I hope this project will lend its support to addressing this imbalance by creating biographies for women within your project's scope, and perhaps by adopting the Dictionary of Virginia Biography redlist. More generally, WikiProject Women in Red has more than 300 redlists covering perhaps 100,000 notable women for whom we have no biography. thanks

Hello, WikiProject Virginia! I recently created a new article draft—ICF International (new proposed draft)—for Fairfax, Virginia-based ICF International and posted this edit request that members of WikiProject Virginia might be interested in. The article was essentially stubbed after an editor found that someone (years ago) had inserted probable copyright violations. My draft fixes issues I saw with the previous iterations of the article: the entry relied heavily on primary sources, its content was choppy, fragmented and outdated. I think it's a good, neutral, encyclopedic overview of the company. I am asking for another editor to review and consider implementing my proposed edits because I am working on behalf of ICF, as I've disclosed on the article's Talk page.
