:I figure since I did a fair bit of whining about how long it might have taken to get a new biography about [[Cornelis Giles]] approved by the AfC team, I should be equally willing to chip in and help out with the backlog on this project. I've made over 1,000 edits to Wikipedia, have been enjoying the content here for many years, and I'm looking to challenge myself with more opportunities to get involved, be evaluated by peers, learn and grow, so that I bring more value to this great project. : I would like to help reduce the backlog of AFC's. I edit on articles of many topics, but most often on Oklahoma history so I think I can bring that expertise to the table. I also have the experience of creating articles that didn't pass deletion review but also many that made the cut, often with improvements made as a result of the review process. I think these experiences will help me in working with folks who create draft articles in a kind but also fair manner. User:WT79

I would like to withdraw my probationary reviewing rights. I am finding much less time for Wikipedia now than when I started this, and I'm afraid AfC just doesn't feature high enough on my priorities. Sorry, WT79 (speak to me | editing patterns | what I been doing) 18:01, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done, mainly on the grounds that your block was not directly involved with the AFC or related processes. Primefac (talk) 15:25, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting AfC rights back because my summer job has closed and I am now fully active once again on Wikipedia. I would like to request this right back because I feel that I am ready once again to dedicate enough time to reviewing new articles and to once again start contributing to Wikipedia. Hi, anybody here, I'm interested in participating in the AFC reviewer although I'm not a PCR or PR but do like helping in draft and new pages. Much respect (F5pillar---/ 'Messager🖋📩) 14:07, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, there are just too many issues I'm seeing on your talk page - copyright issues, a short block, deleted articles, declined drafts, etc. I appreciate the interest in helping out, but I think you need a bit more experience before helping out at AFC. User:2dmaxo

As more Africans' acceptance of Wikipedia grows, there is an acute need to create pages of Africans general interest while ensuring the Wikipedia general standards are maintained. I volunteer to join this project as I have considerable knowledge and experience in the AfC process and also has been a Wikipedian for over a year and has done 500 mainspace edits. Thanks. 2dmaxo (talk) 11:13, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, I've got concerns about the lack of successful page creation (1/3 of your pages have been deleted) and a lack of AFD/CSD participation. I appreciate the interest in helping out, but I think you need a bit more experience before helping out at AFC. Primefac (talk) 15:09, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. This is mainly due to a lack of AFD experience. Primefac (talk) 02:45, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Scrooge200

I think that I am relatively comfortable at editing Wikipedia and I know the foundation of a quality article; for example, I created Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball and got it up to GA status. Drafts seem like a fun way to interact with others and teach the foundations of editing.

Plus, I can't stand backlogs. They make me feel guilty. Scrooge200 (talk) 23:31, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've been active in patrolling draftspace, mainly CSD-tagging spam and copyright violations, and would like access to the toolset to help out with the backlog. You can find my CSD log here and my (admittedly quite short) PROD log here. Thanks for your consideration and best, — Blablubbs (talk • contribs) 13:32, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
