Question from Pappino de ponches (04:17, 14 May 2024)
hello, please how do i create an artiste page? --Pappino de ponches (talk) 04:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Pappino de ponches, and I’m sorry for not responding earlier! It seems like you’re trying to create an article for an artist. So, you could create the article yourself, but since you’re new to Wikipedia, I recommend starting and working on it in draftspace first, then submitting it to an Articles for Creation reviewer for the draft’s review if it passes notability guidelines. Feel free to ask additional questions about creating a page. Thanks, and happy editing! ~ Tails Wx (🐾, ⛈️) 14:54, 25 May 2024 (UTC)

Question from Jayemcguire on Talk:Drake (musician) (02:57, 21 May 2024)
Hello, how do i request an edit to the description of the mother of Drake’s son as she was an adult film star as well? --Jayemcguire (talk) 02:57, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Jayemcguire! So, per Wikipedia:Edit requests, you can propose a change by creating a discussion on the talk page of the article (the talk page seems to be Talk:Drake (musician) per above), and reaching a consensus to add the information to the article. Thanks, and happy editing! :) ~ Tails Wx (🐾, ⛈️) 14:51, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Question from JDtoBee (19:55, 21 May 2024)
Hello, my userpage says that you have been assigned to be my mentor and that I can ask you questions? I'm trying to learn to edit. I am a student of tax law and my primary interest is in improving content and understanding of tax law. I see that this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Scholars_of_tax_law is pathetically incomplete, and indeed it seems to mostly only have profiles listed for tax law professors who have an affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania. I want to work on adding profiles for the most prominent and distinguished tax law professors who are not already on the list (becuase they do not have Penn affiliations). I started working on one draft profiel that someone else created and I was accused of a conflict of interest. I think that has been resolved. But I thought I'd check with you on my plan before working on creating other profiles just in case I am doing something wrong or might do it in the wrong way. I would appreciate any advice you could offer. Thanks!! --JDtoBee (talk) 19:55, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there, @JDtoBee! So, if you have a conflict-of-interest with the other people that you intend to create articles of them, then I highly recommend you avoid doing so; otherwise, you’re free to do create pages you intend to do. Hope this clears any confusion! :) ~ Tails Wx (🐾, ⛈️) 14:59, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! That makes sense. I won't work on profiles for any of my professors or anyone I know personally. JDtoBee (talk) 16:34, 25 May 2024 (UTC)

Question from Birderjem (17:36, 12 June 2024)
Hello Tails! I am new but enjoy learning and adding new information to my own life so finding ways to contribute to Wikipedia seems like a natural extension of my own hobby. First question is tied to usage and etiquette. I was reading up on the wreck of SS Edmund Fitzgerald and noticed a clarification request, after finding a source and adding the information, how do I resolve the request and return formatting to the proper format such as italics for the ship name? Thank you! --Birderjem (talk) 17:36, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, @Birderjem! So basically, “resolving” a clarification tag is to simply “clarify” it. That said, if the tagged sentence or wording is clarified, then the tag is no longer necessary. A source backing the clarification would also be clear as well. For the “return formatting”, I believe it’s just re-adding the removed source code that was originally there. Thanks, and feel free to ask questions for clarification (especially the latter part of my message)! :) ~ Tails Wx 10:42, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

Hello.. How do I upload my pictures and edit my biography --Diamondprimeofficial (talk) 12:20, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Diamondprimeofficial! Wikipedia is not a place for promotion; therefore I wouldn’t upload pictures of yourself and create a biography for yourself on here. The blue link directs more information as to why Wikipedia isn’t a place for promotion. Thanks! :) ~ Tails Wx 10:47, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
