Allies of World War IIJust deleted some junk that I thought was obvious vandalism. I suppose I should have said that in the Edit Summary. - Doctorx0079 (talk) 20:27, 2 November 2010 (UTC) Re: The Labor Split III - an offer you can't refuseLol, I'll do what I can. This isn't my area of expertise though. I was listening to Kim Edward Beazley's memoirs (narrated by his son) that I received as part of the second prize for a quiz night, and I kept on coming across this Alan Reid fellow ... so I thought he *needed* a Wikipedia article! Vagrancy (people)My edit summary was hardly misleading, it was lazy and empty, but the edit was hardly nonconstructive as it removed a very biased, unsourced (the only source were for statistics counterproductive to the arguement). 174.112.18.193 (talk) 03:10, 7 November 2010 (UTC) The article Bryce Retzlaff has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Moner Manush was my first article and i'm still trying to figure this out. Thanks a ton for helping out. Heads up -Hi - someone may have told you this before, but just a heads up: you should be waiting more than a minute before tagging articles with A1 or A3, as you did in Confirm friend. I've heard on multiple occasions, that 5 minutes is a good limit on when you can tag pages with these templates. Cheers! ∙:∙:.:pepper:.:∙:∙ 12:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

DYK nomination of HevisaurusHello! Your submission of Hevisaurus at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. December 2010Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. My problem was that I was trying to participate constructively in the discussion, but all I saw was people attacking Dylan F, some quite rudely and irrationally. I saw no sensible response at all to what I suggested, just continued attack on someone else. I guess I misjudged you as another who was ignoring what I posted. Removing Merry ChristmasVandal-fightingThanks for your vandal-fighting on Messiah. Something to look out for - some IP addresses like to renew their IP mid-vandalism. This makes it so that if someone rolls back their edits, their first edit (made under a slightly different IP) doesn't get reverted. All that to say - be careful what version gets reverted/rolled back to, because they're crafty lil vandals... anyway, thank you! -- Joren (talk) 12:59, 23 December 2010 (UTC) J.D. SalingerHello, I noticed that you added J. D. Salinger to the Deaths in 2010. Salinger actually died on January 27, 2010, not December 27, 2010! He died nearly a year ago, so I have undone the edit. Thank you. WereWolf (talk) 00:33, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
Prod removalHello Pete. Just a note re this edit. The prod was an ordinary one, not a blp prod, so whether in good faith or bad, the article's creator was allowed to remove it. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:31, 3 January 2011 (UTC) Banu IsrailThey are a Shaikh biradari, as endogamous Muslim groupings in North India are referred to. They call themselvees Bannu Israil, which is Arabic for children of Israel, while Jewish communities in India use the Hebrew Bene Israel, which also meams children of Isreal. The Arabic usage reflects the fact that they have converted to Islam. --WALTHAM2 (talk) 01:00, 4 January 2011 (UTC) i.e PRODDo not misrepresent policy. Policy states that you are "encouraged" to justify PROD removal. Not that you absolutely have to justify PROD removal under pain of death. A Nobody Has Returned From The Sea (talk) 11:56, 5 January 2011 (UTC) Plea for help: Concerto for TromboneHello, Peter. You provided some help to me when I rewrote the article Genesis Suite which you created, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me with an article on another Shilkret classical composition, Trombone Concerto (Shilkret). I wrote the article in June 2010 and included a table of concert performances of the piece. More than a dozen people have made useful small edits of the article since then. Two days ago Melodia deleted the entire table. It is common for wikipedia articles on musical compositions to list their usages. The frequency of usage and the stature of the artists, motion pictures and other users of the work provide documentation of the importance of the composition. As an example I looked at 1931 in music (the year chosen at random from a period with which I am somewhat familiar). Links to many of the songs listed, e.g., Dream a Little Dream of Me, Heartaches, and I Don't Know Why give fairly extensive lists of recordings (with no references). For the Concerto for Trombone, the most extensive modern usage is in concerts, where it has been performed by noted soloists and concert orchestras worldwide, and the list of performances thus provides useful documentation of the importance of the composition and belongs in the article. My stated source of information is the contracts these organizations enter into in order to perform the composition. Again using the 1931 in music article for comparison, I followed the link to Stravinsky's Violin Concerto in D to find the premiere performance was listed with no reference. I have copies of the contracts, but for privacy reasons I can not include complete copies of the contracts on the wikipedia commons. I reverted the deletion of the table, and Melodia deleted it again. Is there a way I can appeal this? Thank you for any help or advice you might have. You are welcome to reply in my talk page or yours as you find convenient. Niel Shell (talk) 18:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC) If, as seems likely, you had a hand in starting the discussion in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical music#Listing off all performances concerning my list of performances, thank you for giving me a forum to present my case. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 13 January 2011 (UTC) The article Cristóvão de Aguiar has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
