Congratulations on the article! It was much more informative. Here is some basic followup and advice to help you with future articles and help you improve this one. Please excuse my heavy reliance on Catholic examples, but I am Catholic and I don't want to misuse examples I don't understand.
*Wikipedia has to stay neutral. This means that we cannot state the truth of any religious position in Wikipedia's voice. What we can do is say "Muslims believe", "the Catholic Church teaches", "according to the New Testament" or "Dawkins says that" and then say what they say. Note where I added this to the article. If you can give more specific in-text attribution, that would be amazing!
*When you say the "context" of a prayer, I am rather confused, could you specify? I just left those sentences as is, but they should be clarified.
*You can pipe links. This means that the text of the link need not be the title of the linked article. What you do is write <nowiki>[[name of linked article|text to appear]]</nowiki> and you have a piped link.
*I added Gabriel in parenthesis to the article text. Feel free to remove. I just thought that since anyone Christian or with a Christian cultural background will recognize that name better, it might improve comprehension for a large number of your readers.
Anyways, nice job on the article. It was a pleasure to review and accept it. Happy editing! [[user:Happysquirrel|Happy Squirrel]] ([[user talk:Happysquirrel|talk]]) 15:27, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

== How to format GoogleBooks links ==

Hello Saff, I notice that some of your footnotes are just cited as a title and "google.com". This is unhelpful because a reader can't easily see the author, date, publisher, etc. of the book.

If you have any footnote to a book on GoogleBooks, please just take the link and plug it into the tool at http://reftag.appspot.com, and it will ''instantly'' give you a fully-formatted Wikipedia footnote you can paste in. Please just take 10-15 minutes, and go to the articles you have published so far, and use that tool to format your footnotes so they are nice, clear, and full. That way too, if the link is ever broken (due to websites changing), readers can still see exactly what book you mean, and find a better/current link. It's a ''very'' useful tool and I use it all the time, so good luck with it! [[User:MatthewVanitas|MatthewVanitas]] ([[User talk:MatthewVanitas|talk]]) 02:04, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

== Supplication of Abu Hamzah al-Thumali ==

Hello, Saff V. - In response to your request of a copyedit of [[Supplication of Abu Hamzah al-Thumali]] at [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests]], I just read and did my best to copyedit the article. Since I know nothing about the subject, it was not easy. If I've made any errors, please feel free to correct them. If you wish, you can explain to me what you would like to say, and I will try to word [express] it correctly. There were two things I wasn't sure about:

1) In trying to make the second-to-last sentence of the section [[Supplication of Abu Hamzah al-Thumali#Chain of authority]] grammatically correct, I had to delete something about "confirmed" or "confirming". If that needs to be in the article, you'll have to figure out a way to express it, or try to explain it to me so that I can put it into correct English.

2) Recited at night/in the evening ''or'' at dawn or recited at night/in the evening ''and'' at dawn? Now I've got "or" in one place and "and" at another. That's got to be made consistent. [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 00:03, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

:I thought of two more things that would improve the article:

1) For non-Muslim readers, you might either explain what "supplication" means in this context (that is, the particular meaning of "supplication" as it is used in this article), and/or link the word to an article or part of an article so readers can read more if they want to.

2) Also, even though the name [[Abu Hamza al-Thumali]] is linked to an article, you might think about giving a few details about when and where he lived and wrote. I don't see a single mention of a date or time period in the article. [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 00:09, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

P.S. Why do you have "Hamzah" in bold at the beginning of the article and "Hamza" throughout the article? [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 00:13, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

::{{ping|Corinne}} Thanks for your contribution in the article. In reply to your question:
1.The better sentence is ''The Shia scholars of biographical evaluation and historians believed that Abu Hamza al-Thumali's narration was accurate. If the difference appear between narrations, scholars prefer his narration and solve the problem. Also, hadiths or narration that have some connection to him are verified by scholars of biographical evaluation such as Najasi, Shaykh Tusi, Ibn Babawayh, and Ibn Shahre Ashub. The Sunni scholars have not confirmed him.'' 2. In the correct style, is better use ''or'' between these words (every night and dawn). Because the Du'a recite one time in day and [[Imam al-Sajjad]], the fourth [[Shia]] Imam , invoked the Du'a in every night or dawn of [[Ramadan]]. Therefore, The correct sentence is ''[[Imam al-Sajjad]], the fourth [[Shia]] Imam , invoked the supplication of Abu Hamza al-Thimali in every night or dawn of [[Ramadan]].'' 3. I linked the ''supplication'' word to [[Du'a]] page and in this page readers can read more information about the word. Also, I added [[Du'a]] in the see also. 4. I added Abu Hamza al-Thimali section in the article and wrote a few details about him and his character. 5. The correct spell was ''Hamza'' and ''Hamzah'' replaced with Hamza.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 10:36, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
:::{{ping|Corinne}}I done and added your notice in the article and have made a number of edits subsequent after has received its copyedit. Therefore, [[User:BlueMoonset|BlueMoonset]] stated that ''Reviewer should check that previous issues raised here have been addressed.''[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 04:50, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

:::::Saff V., I have made a few more minor changes in wording to improve the clarity of the article. However, there are still some things that need clarifying. I know these things may be clear to you, but they will not be clear to a native speaker of English.

:::::1) First, I'm going to repeat something I said earlier: I strongly recommend giving some indication of when al-Thumali lived. It's not enough to say he was a companion of three imams if your readers don't know when they lived, either. It helps the reader to know when in history al-Thumali lived and worked.

:::::2) This phrase is not clear: "scholars of biographical evaluation". "Biographical evaluation" just doesn't make sense in English. Try to find another way to say this. I'm just going to guess; perhaps one of these will be right (the words separated by slashes (/) are just alternatives from which you can choose):

::::::*scholars who specialize in evaluating the authenticity/accuracy/credentials/quality of earlier scholars / scholars' writings ...

::::::*scholars who evaluate earlier scholars / scholars' writings for [see above], ...

::::::*When evaluating earlier writers / scholars / scholars' writings , Shia scholars...

:::::3) In this sentence in the lead: "The supplication is mentioned in the eqbal al-a’mal of Sayyed Ibn Tawus", the phrase "eqbal al-a’mal" will definitely not be clear to the general reader of Wikipedia. I suggest either adding an explanatory phrase after it (or after the author's name) enclosed in a pair of commas, or a short descriptive phrase before it ("the .... eqbal al-a’mal"), or linking it, or some combination of these.

:::::4) In the very first sentence in the lead, "The supplication of Abu Hamza al-Thumali (Arabic: دعاء أبي حمزة الثمالي) is a Du'a narrated from Imam al-Sajjad", the phrase "is...narrated from" does not make sense. (This construction also appears in the section on "Chain of authority" and it doesn't make sense there, either.) The normal usage of the verb ''to narrate'' is in the active voice, followed by an object: "Mr. X narrated the events of the weekend." The verb means "to tell the events [to someone]"&nbsp;– usually in the order in which they happened. You can say this with passive voice: "The events of the weekend were narrated [by Mr. X]." You will see that there is no "from" in either of these. What do you mean by "from"? Maybe "narrate" is not even the right verb here. '''{{U|Joshua Jonathan}}''' Perhaps you can help with this and some of the other issues.

:::::5) In the first section after the lead you have this sentence:

:::::*It was reported on the authority of Ali al-Ridha, who said, "Abu Hamza in his time was like Salman in his time."

:::::When I see this sentence, my first question is, "What is 'it'?" ''What'' was reported? i think maybe this sentence is unnecessarily wordy and could be simplified to something like this:

:::::*Ali al-Ridha also said, "Abu Hamza in his time was like Salman in his time."

:::::What do you think? Would that express what you want to say?

:::::6) In the section on Chain of authority, you have this sentence:

:::::*This Du'a is seen in the Eqbal al-A'mal of Sayyed Ibn Tawus, who writes that the authenticity of the supplication of Abu Hamza al-Thimali reach to Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara who is a recognized scholar in hadith studies.

:::::In this sentence, it is not clear what this means: "the authenticity of the supplication of Abu Hamza al-Thimali reach to Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara". First of all, "reach" is in the wrong form or tense. If you mean today, use present tense, and then it should be "reaches to". If you mean in the past, use past tense: "reached to". But even with that correction, it doesn't make sense. How can the authenticity of a written work "reach to" a person? What do you ''really'' mean? Try to explain it to me and I will help you express it right. Well, that's all for now. [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 18:33, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

Hallo Saff V. and Corinne. I took a look at the page, but it's really not my topic. I have no idea what would be common terminology and style of writing in this context, so I'm afraid I can't say anything meaningfull about it. i have added a link to "supplication," though; I didn't even know what that is. Best regards, and succes with the article, [[User:Joshua Jonathan|<font size="2"><span style="font-family:Forte;color:black">Joshua Jonathan</span></font>]] -[[User talk:Joshua Jonathan|<font size="3"><span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;color:black">Let's talk!</span></font>]] 19:06, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
:'''{{U|Kautilya3}}''' and '''{{U|Ugog Nizdast}}''' Can you help resolve some of these issues? [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 19:14, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
::{{ping|Corinne}} Thanks for your help in editing the article. 1 and 5. First of all, I must to correct the sentence. The correct form is [[Ali al-Ridha]], the eighth Imam of Shia stated about him: "Abu Hamza in his time was similar to [[Salman the Persian|Salman]] in prophet time."

::I want to show the great esteem of Abu Hamza for Imams. Also they considered him as a trustworthy person. Any way I preferred indicate that by nomination to statements of one of Imams. Can you find out my mean?

::2. Text were edited in this form: Historians and scholars who evaluate earlier narrators (based on [[Biographical evaluation|the Science of Narration]]) believed that Abu Hamza al-Thumali's narration was accurate and reliable.

::3. Text were edited in this form: Eqbal al-a’mal - is an Arabic book included Du’a, prayer and practice which have been recommended to perform at specific times of the year-

::4. Text were edited in this form: The [[supplication]] of Abu Hamza al-Thumali (Arabic: دعاء أبي حمزة الثمالي) is a [[Du'a]] attributed to [[Imam al-Sajjad]].

::6. The correct tens is past form of reach. In Islamic science of narration, when a reliable scholar narrated the [[Hadith]] or [[supplication]] or etc, we say that this Hadith or supplication has authenticity and is reliable. Another point is a chain of narrators that should be clear. The last link of the chain is Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara that Sayyed Ibn Tawus narrated supplication of him. In other word Sayyed ibn Tawus received the supplication from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara. I hope to make it clear. Thanks for your patient.

::Of course I explained more detail at second sentence of this paragraph. But according to points that you nominated at part 4 and 6 I think, it’s better to rewrite this sentence “According to Eqbal al-A'mal, the chain of authority was described as following: Sayyed Ibn Tawus narrated the supplication from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara and he narrated from Hassan bin Mahboob Srad. Finally he narrated from Abu Hamza al-Thimali” to this: “According to Eqbal al-A'mal, the chain of authority was described as following: Sayyed Ibn Tawus received it from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara who received it from Hassan bin Mahboob Srad who received it from Abu Hamza al-Thimali who recived it from [[Imam al-Sajjad]]. Is it good? Thanks for your patient.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 10:12, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
::*I'm glad you added the additional information about the eqbal (the work in Arabic). I made a few more changes in the text to make it clearer. I think it is approaching a good article now. However, there are a few things:

:::1) You still didn't clarify "reach to".

:::2) You still didn't clarify "scholars of biographical evaluation" (see above) I didn't see the link to Science of Narration. Is it there? I'll have to look again.

:::3) In the sentence you copied above, "Historians and scholars who evaluate earlier narrators (based on [[Biographical evaluation|the Science of Narration]]) believed that Abu Hamza al-Thumali's narration was accurate and reliable", if "evaluate" is in present tense, then all the verbs that follow in that sentence should be in present tense. Then the sentence would be about scholars evaluating earlier narrators ''today'', or at any time (always true). So I changed "believed" to "believe", "was" to "is". If this is all about scholars in the past, then "evaluate" should be in past tense, and the other verbs can go back to past tense. It all depends on whether you are referring to scholars today or scholars in the past.

:::4) I changed the last part, the chain, to successive adjective clauses, "..., who...", which I think is clearer than "..., and he..." [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 14:59, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

*{{ping|Corinne}} Greeting, Thanks for your help.
:1. My mean of reach to be that [[Sayyed Ibn Tawus]] had received the supplication from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara by brokers. So the means of authenticity is that the brokers are reliable. Is it clear?
:My proposal: this sentence ''According to Eqbal al-A'mal, the chain of authority was described as following: Sayyed Ibn Tawus narrated the supplication from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara and he narrated from Hassan bin Mahboob Srad. Finally he narrated from Abu Hamza al-Thimali'' changes to this ''According to Eqbal al-A'mal, the chain of authority was described as following: Sayyed Ibn Tawus received it from Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara who received it from Hassan bin Mahboob Srad who received it from Abu Hamza al-Thimali who received it from Imam al-Sajjad.'' Please, see below:
::::Imam al-Sajjad
::::Abu Hamza al-Thimali
::::Hassan bin Mahboob Srad
::::Harun ibn Musa ibn Ahmad Talla'ukbara
::::Sayyed Ibn Tawus
:Do you agree with me? Is it better to use ''receive'' as ''narrate''?
:2. You proposed three phrase for "scholars of biographical evaluation" and I choose one of them, but unfortunately it is an ambiguous. To clarifying the phrase, I give reference to Wikipedia article of [[biographical evaluation]]. We read: "Biographical evaluation (Arabic: عِلْمُ الرِّجال, translit.: `Ilm al-Rijāl), literally meaning 'Knowledge of Men' but more commonly understood as the science of narration, refers to a discipline of Islamic religious studies within hadith terminology in which the narrators of hadith are evaluated. Its goal is to distinguish authentic and reliable hadiths from unreliable hadiths in establishing the credibility of the narrators, using both historic and religious knowledge.`Ilm ar-rijal is synonymous with what is commonly referred to as al-jarḥ wa al-taʻdīl (discrediting and accrediting) – the criticism and declared acceptance of hadith narrators."
:3. Thanks for your attention. It is about scholars at every times, not only past. Thanks for your patient.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 06:45, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

==[[The verse of Wilayah]]==
No, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_verse_of_Wilayah&diff=685158174&oldid=685156427 this edit is not even English], let alone acceptable. If you're claiming that this story appears in the Quran and is not merely a hadith you ''must'' provide a verse. (Ideally linked using {{nowrap|<code><nowiki><ref>{{cite quran|?|?}}</ref></nowiki></code>.)}} If you're giving up on looking, ''remove the entire claim'', not the {{tl|fact}} tag.&nbsp;—&nbsp;[[User talk:LlywelynII|<span style="text-shadow:#BBBBBB 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em; class=texhtml">Llywelyn<font color="Gold">II</font></span>]] 08:46, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

:Actually, having checked the two (non-Quranic) sources given for that claim, ''both'' of them mention it as a hadith and do ''not'' claim that the story was mentioned in the Quran. I'll just remove that idea, pending your finding the relevant verse.&nbsp;—&nbsp;[[User talk:LlywelynII|<span style="text-shadow:#BBBBBB 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em; class=texhtml">Llywelyn<font color="Gold">II</font></span>]] 09:10, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

Kindly also notice that several of your original citations gave the wrong authors, which is pretty unhelpful. When using collections of scholarly articles, you should be careful to see whether Google Books is giving you the author of the whole book or the editor of a collection of articles. If it's the second one, you have to look at the table of contents to find the ''actual'' author.&nbsp;—&nbsp;[[User talk:LlywelynII|<span style="text-shadow:#BBBBBB 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em; class=texhtml">Llywelyn<font color="Gold">II</font></span>]] 08:48, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Saff V. - In response to a request for a copy-edit at [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests]], I have reviewed [[Lohoof]] and made several edits. I did my best to put the sentences into colloquial, Standard English, but in several places I had to guess what was meant. Since I do not know the subject matter very well, I may have gotten some things wrong. I recommend that you read through the article and look at the changes I made to be sure that the article is factually correct and that the sentences convey the intended meaning. Let me know if you need further help with this article. [[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne|talk]]) 00:34, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

==List of casualties in Husayn's army at the Battle of Karbala edit war==
[[File:Information.svg|25px|alt=Information icon]] Hello, and [[Wikipedia:Introduction|welcome to Wikipedia]]. You appear to be engaged in an [[Wikipedia:Edit warring|edit war]] with one or more editors according to your reverts at [[:List of casualties in Husayn's army at the Battle of Karbala]]. Although repeatedly [[Help:Reverting|reverting or undoing]] another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the [[Wikipedia:Editing policy|normal editing process]], and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a [[Wikipedia:Consensus|consensus]] on the [[:Talk:List of casualties in Husayn&#39;s army at the Battle of Karbala|talk page]].

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose [[Wikipedia:Blocking policy|editing privileges]]. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the [[Wikipedia:Edit warring#The three-revert rule|three-revert rule]], which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a [[Wikipedia:Blocking policy|loss of editing privileges]]. == Hey Toddy1, You must selected keep vote ==
I have tried to keep the article in a decent state since December 2011.[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_casualties_in_Husayn%27s_army_at_the_Battle_of_Karbala&action=history] I have not tried to rewrite the article, merely to clean it up. I think [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_casualties_in_Husayn%27s_army_at_the_Battle_of_Karbala&oldid=467736383 subdivision of the article in 2011] was better than the one today (though it needed explaining). I put in the numbering, so that readers could see that the number of people allegedly killed was a lot more than the 72 mentioned by Tabari.
:::[[User:Toddy1| Toddy1]] The current style has not many different with old version. Please say you reason for old version.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 09:15, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
::::The big problem of the current list is category 1.2, which has a lot of names in no obvious order. The December 2011 version had lots of small categories, which helped people find information.
::::'''Current breakdown of the list'''
::::1.1 Descendants of Banu Hashim
:::::1.1.1 Descendants of Ali ibn Abi Talib
::::::1.1.1.1 Sons of Ali ibn Abi Talib
::::::1.1.1.2 Sons of Hassan ibn Ali
::::::1.1.1.3 Sons of Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
::::::1.1.1.4 Sons of Abbas ibn Ali
:::::1.1.2 Descendants of Ja'far ibn Abi Talib
:::::1.1.3 Sons of Aqeel ibn Abi Talib
::::1.2 Army of Husayn ibn Ali (these are not Banu Hashim)

::::'''December 2011 breakdown of the list'''
::::1 Descendants of Abu Talib
:::::1.1 Descendants of Ali ibn Abu Talib
:::::1.2 Descendants of Ali's brothers
::::2 Casualties from the Bani Asad clan
::::3 Casualties from the Banu Hamdan clan
::::4 Casualties from the Jahni
::::5 Ansari casualties
::::6 Bijli and Khas-ami
::::7 Kindi and Ghaffari
::::8 Kalbi
::::9 Azdi
::::10 Tai and Taymi
::::11 Abdi
::::12 Taghleebi
::::13 Jahani and Tameemi
::::14 Others
::::15 Miscellaneous deaths
::::16 Those who joined the Imam from the enemy army
::::One solution to the problem would be to reinstate categories for present section 1.2. Another solution would be to turn the whole list into a sortable Wikitable.--<span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:10pt;color:#000000">[[User:Toddy1| Toddy1]] [[User talk:Toddy1|(talk)]]</span> 20:32, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

However, of late, I have had enough of the [[Wikipedia:Tendentious editing|tendentious editing]] of POV-warriors who refuse to allow articles to have a neutral POV. So I commented, but did not say keep or delete.

If you were interested, you could make the list a lot better. The most obvious thing to do would be to say which sources list which people. If you look at the current citations, some of them are rubbish and do not support the information. The only really reliable source on the battle is Tabari. So why does the article not cite him for the names that he mentions? Another thing the article should be doing is saying how each man died, if mentioned in a reliable source like Tabari.
:::[[User:Toddy1| Toddy1]] Can you add Tabari?Add Tabari believed that 72 person was killed in the battle. It is very good source.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 09:15, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

You might also ask why does the article on Husayn ibn Ali not mention criticism of him. For example: he was a racist, he did not understand politics, and he split his community.--<span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:10pt;color:#000000">[[User:Toddy1| Toddy1]] [[User talk:Toddy1|(talk)]]</span> 09:05, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

== Be careful with copypaste tags ==

Hi, you seem to tag articles for being copy-pastes, while in reality they are not. I have already told you this at [[Talk:Muawiya II]], but you have again <u>wrongly</u> tagged other articles ([[Aamir Liaquat Hussain]] and [[Lal Bahadur Shastri]]). Please be aware that another website can have the same text, because it copied the text from Wikipedia. In the future, ask yourself the following before adding a copypaste tag:
#Did Wikipedia copy the other website?
#Did the other website copy Wikipedia?
In case #1 you can add a copypaste tag. In case #2 you should NOT add a copypaste tag. - [[User:HyperGaruda|HyperGaruda]] ([[User talk:HyperGaruda|talk]]) 18:25, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

===Tips when assessing copyvio===
If you find a website that has the same text as Wikipedia, you should check a couple of things first. Below are some things which may indicate that another site copies Wikipedia (=case #2):
*"Wikipedia" or "Wikimedia" is mentioned somewhere on the other website.
*There are numbers between square brackets throughout the text on the other website. Example: ''Blablabla bla bla yada yada bla.[1]''
*There are sections named "See also", "References" and "External links".
If you see any of these, then the other website is likely copying Wikipedia (case #2) and you should NOT add a [[template:copypaste|copypaste tag]]. - [[User:HyperGaruda|HyperGaruda]] ([[User talk:HyperGaruda|talk]]) 19:18, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

[[File:Stop hand nuvola.svg|30px|left|alt=Stop icon]] Your recent editing history at [[:Dawning of the new age]] shows that you are currently engaged in an [[Wikipedia:Edit warring|edit war]]. I have noted that one of the article's statements requires a citation. I scanned the citation provided and I don't feel that it supports the sentence as it stands - especially since you use the word "historians" implying more than one has made the claim. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, '''[[:United States eavesdropping]]'''. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – '''[[:Global surveillance disclosures (2013–present)]]'''. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for [[WP:A10|speedy deletion]]. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at [[:Global surveillance disclosures (2013–present)]] – you might like to discuss new information at [[Talk:Global surveillance disclosures (2013–present)|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may '''contest the nomination''' by [[:United States eavesdropping|visiting the page]] and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with [[Wikipedia:List of policies|Wikipedia's policies and guidelines]]. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request [[WP:RFUD|here]]. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the [[WP:AFC|article creation process]] and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.<!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> [[User:FreeatlastChitchat|FreeatlastChitchat]] ([[User talk:FreeatlastChitchat|talk]]) 07:34, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

== Iran and Red and Black Colonization ==

Hello Saff V.: The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article [[Iran and Red and Black Colonization]] has been completed. I did my best to try to decipher some sections of the article so please read it carefully to make sure I have not made mistakes. Since some of the references were in Arabic, which I do not understand, I could not check them to be sure what I thought the article intended was correct.</br></br>
One thing I noticed was that the Wikipedia article on [[Ettela'at]] says the article was published on January 6th. So the correct date needs to be verified and one or other article corrected.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, [[User:Twofingered Typist|Twofingered Typist]] ([[User talk:Twofingered Typist|talk]]) 22:34, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

Editor ''[[user:Happysquirrel|Happy Squirrel]]'' submitted the following nomination for [[WP:Editor of the Week|Editor of the Week]]:

I nominate Editor Saff V. to be Editor of the Week for his tireless work on topics related to Islam. Saff V. is a prolific content creator with 13 DYKs since he started in June 2015. More than 3/4 of their roughly 5000 edits are to article space, but they have nonetheless also contributed to a wide variety of namespaces. However, what has always struck me the most about Saff V. is their civility and willingness to learn. I had the privilege of reviewing one of their first creations at AfC and our interractions remain some of the best I have had on Wikipedia. They have also edited civilly and within policy in an area that is often very controversial. We are all lucky to have someone with the talent and enthusiasm of Saff V. in our midst.

You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:

== ''Editor of the Week'' seeking nominations (and a new facilitator) ==

The ''[[Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week|Editor of the Week]]'' initiative has been recognizing editors since 2013 for their hard work and dedication. Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly ''Editor of the Week'' award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week/Recipient response|response from the honorees]] has been enthusiastic and thankful.

The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Is there an editor who does lots of little tasks well, such as cleaning up citations?

Please help us thank editors who display sustained patterns of excellence, working tirelessly in the background out of the spotlight, by [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week/Nominations|submitting your nomination for ''Editor of the Week'']] today!

<small>In addition, the WikiProject is seeking a new facilitator/coordinator to handle the logistics of the award. == Ali Shariati ==

Hello:

The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article [[Ali Shariati]] has been completed.

Please read the article through carefully. In many places I had to try to interpret what was being said and I do not want to introduce inadvertent errors into the article. The section on Sociology was so confusing I did not even attempt to copy edit it. Perhaps you can fix it or track down somebody with an understanding of the subject to work on clarifying it. There are also other sections and sentences that I could not understand so I added [[clarification needed}} tags.

I added a section citation tag for the Legacy section because someone needs to go through each entry and indicate whether it refers to a book or an article, and add a citation. In this way a book title can be indicated in italics and an article by quotation marks.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Hello, Saff V.{{snd}}I did the best I could, trying to figure out what was meant and putting the sentences into comprehensible English. To save time, I added "clarification needed" tags and hidden notes to editors, i.e., you, in places where I thought something needed to be made clearer. There was one place where I just guessed (and I indicated that I was guessing), so you'll have to check that, and of course I hope you'll check all my edits. Let me know if I can help with re-wording anything. You can remove the tags and the hidden notes once you've dealt with the issue. I changed the format slightly so that it is closer to the way most Wikipedia articles are formatted.

In most of the sections, you made it clear who said what, but in the section on Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi, it is not clear. It sounds like most of the statements are made in Wikipedia's voice, which we can't have. It has to be clear what Rahimpour Azghadi said (even if it is a paraphrase of what he actually said), and what others, such as the government, said. Let me know if you don't understand what I'm saying. Best regards, &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 17:08, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

== Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid ==

{{GOCEtb|article = Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid|sign = &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 00:27, 8 November 2017 (UTC)}}

Hello, Saff V.{{snd}}I have finished copy-editing the article. I have a few questions for you:

1) In the lead, you say "the captive family members of Muhammad, prophet of Islam, and the heads of those murdered were moved to the Levant". It is my understanding that the [[Levant]] is a fairly large area. I think it would help the article if the actual location were narrowed down somewhat, or, if this is not possible, to explain why it is not possible. This doesn't have to be done in the lead. It can be done when this information is mentioned later in the article.

2) You will have seen in the revision history that I removed the word "critical" before "statements" early in the lead. I did this mainly because "critical" can mean different things (1. containing criticism, or 2. very important; absolutely essential), so is ambiguous, but also because just one sentence later you say she gave a "defiant sermon", and I think that characterizes it sufficiently.

3) Toward the end of the section [[Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid#Zaynab bint Ali]], you have this sentence:

*She also protected the life of her nephew Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin, the fourth Shia Imam, as he lay seriously ill and unable to go to the battlefield.

The phrase "unable to go to the battlefield" may leave the reader wondering if he ever was on the battlefield. If he had been on the battlefield, and then fell ill (was he ill or was he wounded?), we ought to change "unable to go the battlefield" to "unable to return to the battlefield".

4) In the section [[Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid#Background]] you have this sentence:

*On the first day of the month of Safar, according to the narration of Turabi, they arrived in the Levant and the captured family and heads were taken into Yazid's presence.

I think you ought to give more information about the identity of Turabi. Is there an article to which his name can be linked?

5) In the second paragraph in "Background", you have this sentence:

*Yazid with the lips and teeth of Hussein with his staff while saying: "I wish those of my clan who were killed at Badr, and those who had seen the Khazraj clan wailing (in the battle of Uhad) on account of lancet wounds, were here.

I know it's difficult to translate from one language to another, but the first part of this sentence is not clear. Was Yazid ''holding'' "the lips and teeth of Hussein with his staff", or ''holding'' Hussein/Husayn's ''head'' with his staff and ''looking at'' the lips and teeth?

6) In the later sections, starting with [[Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid#Context]], I changed the formatting of the quotes. I removed the pull quotes formatting (and color) and changed the quotes to simple block quotes. According to the MoS, pull quotes are discouraged.

Well, that's all. &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 01:05, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

::{{ping|User:Corinne}} Thanks for your attempts.Excuse me for my delay. I really impress by your attention.About the issues indicated by you:
1)I added a little description about levant at the lead.
2)My mean was ''containing criticism''
3)Exactly I agree
4)[[Rasheed Turabi]] was a Islamic scholar and philosopher
5)Pardon me. I had mistake in writing and corrected it to ''Yazid hit the lips and teeth of Hussein with his stick while saying''
But i really don't know that I'm allowed to edit article because of this issues? Regards! [[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 12:25, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

== Sermon of Ali ibn Husayn in Damascus ==

{{GOCEtb|article = Sermon of Ali ibn Husayn in Damascus|sign = &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 18:54, 8 November 2017 (UTC)}}

Hello, Saff V. I have a few things I'd like to ask you about:

1) As in the other article, I think "moved to the Levant" should be made more specific, if not in the lead then in the body of the article.

2) In the lead you have this sentence:

*By order of Yazid, a pulpit was prepared, and a public speaker gave a lecture that placed blame on Ali and Husayn ibn Ali.

I think you need to say for what Ali and Husayn ibn Ali were being blamed, and this information needs to be included both here in the lead and later in the article when you mention this again.

3) Was Husayn ibn Ali Ali's son? If so, don't you want to add "his son" before "Husayn ibn Ali" in that sentence?

4) In the title you use the word "sermon", but you don't use that word again in the article. Instead, you use the word "lecture" more than once. I think the word should be the same in both the title and the article.

5) In the "Background" section you say, "According to Turabi". I think you should either explain who Turabi was or link his name to an article.

6) At the end of the first paragraph in "Background", you say the family of Muhammad and the heads of those killed were taken to the Levant and into the presence of Yazid, but at the beginning of the next paragraph you say that Yazid ordered that a pulpit be built in Damascus, and apparently Yazid was there for the sermon/lecture. You had not said where in the Levant the family and the heads were taken, so I think you need to clarify this so that the reader doesn't wonder, "How did Yazid get from the Levant to Damascus?"

7) The second half of the second paragraph in "Background" is confusing. You say Ali ibn Husayn called out and asked Yazid's permission to speak. It's not clear whether Yazid gave him permission to speak, and then you say Zayn al-Abidin ascended the pulpit to speak. I think you need to say whether or not Yazid granted Ali ibn Husayn's request to speak or denied his request to speak. Also, you should say who Zayn al-Abidin was.

8) The second item in "Context" is not clear. Specifically, this is not clear: "he nominated to knowledge..." "Nominated to" is not clear. What do you mean?

9) In the "Context" section, you have sub-sections which are, I guess, the criteria. I think, instead of section headings, you should incorporate all of this into paragraphs without section headings, something like this: The first criterion was that he was the.... The next criterion was... The third criterion was... ... Finally, he said he was...

Well, that's all for now. &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 19:11, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

::{{ping|User:Corinne}} I really appreciate it and apologize for my delay in answering. All of pointed that you underlined was observed. I prefer first solve them here then edit the article, so:

1)I can’t exactly get your mean. How ''moved to the Levant'' should be specific ?

2)You are right but there isn’t any exact incident words in the source about blaming. I try to find another source.

3)In Arabic ibn means son. Any way it will be added.

4)Thanks for your attention. The sermon has more close meaning to the Arabic word.

5)[[Rasheed Turabi]] was a Islamic scholar and philosopher.

6)I added in parenthesis Damascus next to the Levant. Can I make it clear?

7)This issue was described during this sentences '' Ali ibn Husayn called out to him and said: "O you who preach! Woe be to you! You have bought the wrath of the Creator in lieu of the pleasure of the creatures, while your place is hell." Then he turned towards Yazid and said: "Do you permit me to speak that which would be agreeable to Allah and would be a means of reward for those present?" Yazid refused, but the people said, "Permit him to ascend the pulpit; perhaps we may hear something (worthwhile) from him." Yazid replied, "If I permit him to mount the pulpit, he shall not descend it until he humiliates me and the progeny of Abu Sufyan." They said: "How could this ailing youth do so?' Yazid replied; "He comes from a family that has from infancy consumed wisdom along with their milk.'' Isn’t it enough?

8)The word “said about” is replaced.

9)I try to write a paragraphs as you explained.[[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 11:29, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

:Re 1) As I mentioned in my comments in the section above this one about [[Sermon of Zaynab bint Ali in the court of Yazid]], I think the Levant is a fairly large region, so it would help the reader if you were more specific than just "the Levant". ''Where'' in the Levant?

:Re: 6) To my mind, it doesn't matter much whether Damascus is near the Levant or far from it. What matters is that Yazid was in the Levant, and then he ordered a pulpit to be built in Damascus, and then he was there for the sermon. You could just add "Later,..." or "Soon after,..." before the sentence where you say Yazid ordered a pulpit to be built in Damascus. At least that gives a time difference.

:Re: 7) Well, I guess since Ali ibn Husayn "ascended the pulpit and gave his sermon", Yazid must have relented (given in to the wishes of the people). Do you want to add that? Something like this:

:*Yazid finally relented, and Ali ibn Husayn ascended the pulpit and gave his sermon.

:Re: 8) "Said about", by itself, is not enough. We usually say "Said ''something'' about ''something''. I'll take a look at this again later today. &nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;[[User:Corinne|Corinne]] ([[User talk:Corinne#top|talk]]) 21:15, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

:::1)My mean is Actually Damascus and he place of Yazid's governing. The Muhammad family were in Iraq then they moved to Leavent, In other word if they were in the Levant at the first I use the exact name of city but they had tripe between two states. Also leavant is called to the state and Damascus is the most important city and the center of government of [[Banu Umayya]] at leavant.
:::6) Yazid was in the Levant means Yazid was in the Damascus and all of event that you mentioned happened in the Damascus and the mosque placed here.
:::7)Yes, of curs! It is so clear.
:::8)my mean was something like said or tell....be aware people about the knowledge of Muhammad and his family...
:::Thanks a lot for your attention![[User:Saff V.|Saff V.]] ([[User talk:Saff V.#top|talk]]) 08:33, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

The notability of this classical work of Xenophon which is published in 8 other wikis is beyond any question. The sources are excellent and cited by different page numbers which is completely allowed and there is no need to use FN. Please change this to a pass, otherwise I will ask for another reviewer. *This is one of the greatest classical works of all time. If you don't understand that it is very notable you have no place reviewing it. I will ask for another reviewer. I've started the OTD box for [[Portal:Shia Islam|Shia Portal]], two years after [[User:John of Reading|John of Reading]]'s [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Portal_talk:Shia_Islam&diff=686136700&oldid=686133462 suggestion]. Now, we need to make sub pages for every single days of the calendar, although some of the days apparently don't have a noteworthy incident. Can you help us with this?
