So...

Do you think Di is really Dixie? Mike H 22:25, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)

AW was Another World, silly! Cady McClain was on As the World Turns. In any case, I haven't seen the show much recently, only from what I've read in the magazines. Apparently someone close to Cady is dying (I'm guessing a parent) and that's why she won't come back to AMC, because Megan McTavish is being too pushy and not giving her her space. Speaking of the NBC soaps, the new Felicia on GH is none other than Miss Skinemax herself, Another World's Sandra Ferguson. She was a good enough actress when she was younger, in the late 1980s, but she never really improved. Mike H 23:43, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)
The Soap Digest about three weeks ago had a big "LOOK WHO'S LEAVING!" issue and Kristina Wagner was front and center. Other highlights included Adrienne Frantz's exit from Bold and the Beautiful, McTavish wanting Cady McClain back as Dixie, and Shemar Moore's oft-repeated "I want to do movies" line, even though they're never successful because, frankly, his acting sucks (see Birds of Prey? Hell, see Soul Train? How much acting do you need to present SOUL TRAIN? He's just painful.) Mike H 23:48, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)

Please reconsider your vote. I grew up in Columbus and lived there for 25 years, and I can tell you that the "neighborhood" described is not recognized as a distinct neighborhood, nor is the name used by anyone other than a handful of people posting on a couple message boards. I wrote all of the other articles presently in Category:Columbus, Ohio neighborhoodsthose are widely recognized, have distinct characters that separate them from the surrounding areas, have permanent street signs that mark their existence, and three out of four have neighborhood associations (see the external links in German Village, the Short North, and Clintonville). None of this is true of "Washington Beach." Compare the google results for "San Margherita" + "Ohio"[1] (by far the smallest of the Columbus neighborhoods I've written about) with the google results for "Washington Beach" + "Ohio."[2] The only relevant hits are a few minor uses by message board posters on donewaiting.com and verticalslum.com. It's just a name they got from a video game. Postdlf 23:26, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Why thank you, my good sir :). --Vladtheinhaler 23:37, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

NOEDITSECTION

Hey, Weyes, when you added NOEDITSECTION to the Vfd top template, it caused the removal of all section edit links to every link on the page that the template was added to.  :) Nice try, but it didn't work.  :) RickK 21:53, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)

I think I've fixed all of these. It was a good idea, though. :) sjorford →•← 22:27, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Oh god yes, I hadn't thought of it working globally, I'm a pillock. Sorry about that, and thanks for cleaning up my mess. --W(t) 23:21, 2005 Jun 19 (UTC)

Re: Jugge and Club Goa

From the link you posted:

Several TV characters, household names in Sweden are here to win the prize money in the Club Goa show. Divided into two teams, the participants — big names who all have participated in the different reality shows in Sweden — face a stiff competition to come out trumps where they are voted out for not performing.

Sounds like a game show to me. P Ingerson (talk) 23:25, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Jguk case comments

Re your email - while I cannot comment on an ongoing case, in the future would you please wait until we reach a final decision before criticizing us. I don't really think it's fair criticizing us for a work-in-progress. The final decision may be very different than what is there.

On a more general note, while we (the committee) do make mistakes (as I mentioned on my talk page earlier, about not notifying the other administrators about the EK mentorship), we really do try very hard at a thankless job, to make Wikipedia a nice play to edit. →Raul654 02:08, Jun 20, 2005 (UTC)
