The article :Kenneth Baker Schley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern: |

Please see WP:BIO1E. Notability is entirely connected to one event, and not a notable event at that.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons. |
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. |
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SummerPhDv2.0 17:31, 26 January 2018 (UTC) |

Category:Open content companies
Hi, you created Category:Open content companies as "not a subcat of Category:Open content". Why not? It seems to me that it should be. – Fayenatic London 10:53, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, because a company is a subcat of company, not of content. Content is something that can be digitally transfered across tcpip, a company cannot be therefore is not a subcat. Just because it is related to does not make it a sub category see Subcategory James Michael DuPont (talk) 15:43, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
- But even though food and drink are substances that can be ingested, whereas Category:Food and drink companies/Category:Food- and drink-related organizations cannot be ingested, yet the latter is a valid sub-category of Category:Food and drink. In Wikipedia, sub-cats are used for broader relationships between topics than the sub-set principle stated in the mathematical article subcategory.
- For a recent discussion on how sub-cats do have shifts in meaning, you might be interested to see Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Categories#A_big_problem_with_our_category_structures. – Fayenatic London 21:29, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
