Barnstar

The Original Barnstar
For your many months of service to Wikipedia, I, Sharkface217, hereby award you this barnstar. --Sharkface217 05:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou for your Commendation! --Jose77 08:53, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Hi Jose77, Thanks for the barnstar. I see you're doing a lot of good works in Uighur Wikipedia. I hope involvement of native speakers will help. Keep it up please. -Mehrdad 11:28, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article about Classical Japanese

I am 榎. I wrote the article about TJC before. Now, could you write the new article about Classical Japanese in Taiwanese language based on the English article, and then please put a External link to Wp/jpn-classical. A few sentences would be enough. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk • contribs) 02:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. --Jose77 06:15, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for writing a very wonderful article. When you have an article that you want to translate into Japanese, I will be pleased to do it.-- 01:54, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Use of Resources from Translate.org to translate the Wikipedia interface into Sepedi (Northern Sotho)

Use Of Resources from translate.org

Hello Translate.org.za friends, On Saturday 2 February, Translate.org.za was honoured with an award for 'Multilingualism and Nation Building: eBusiness Institution of the Decade'. The award was given by the Pan South African Language Board in recognition of our work to ensure that every South African can use a computer in their mother tongue. This includes the invention of a multilingual South African keyboard, spell checkers and translation of OpenOffice.org (the first office suite in an official South African language and still the only one available in all 11 official languages). You can read more here: [1].
I'd like to thank all of you who have made this possible. Our donors, volunteers, well wishers and staff. Without you this would not have been possible. Ngiyabonga kakhulu.

Have you seen the drive to get Mediawiki translated? They are paying some money, search for Betawiki.

You are welcome to use our NSO list to try and drive up collaboration. It might be worth considering doing something like a day for Wikipedia NSO here in the city.

This follow up email was in reply to Phillip Pare's email: On Tue, 2008-02-05 at 13:51 +0200, Phillip Pare ( ptpare@lantic.net ) wrote:
Congratulations. This is good news.
Have you seen the progress made with a Northern Sotho Wikipedia? ([3]) ( [4] )
They now want jabout 1762 phrases translated to get the whole wikipedia interface in Northern Sotho. Do you think it would be appropriate to use the various lists of translated phrase that you have produced to aid this process? The phrases that need to be translated can be found at [5]

The other thing with the various wikipedias is to demonstrate that there are sufficient people interested in developing an encyclopaedia in a particular language. At the moment most of the Sepedi wikipedia has been developed by Mohau (user page: http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mohau) with some help from myself (http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ptpare) and Jose (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jose77 ). This is still very thin to demonstrate a sustainable project. Would you have any ideas on how to encourage further participation? Regards Phillip

Translation in WP:gd

Hi Jose77, I saw your request for translation. I' m awfully sorry, but as an intermedia learner of Gaelic this beautiful text is far beyond my language knowledge and translation ability. I would suggest to ask gd:User:AnSiarach, this user is a native speaker. With kind regards Sionnach. --84.63.17.180 (talk) 19:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maitei José

Así te llamas?. Un gusto. Dame un tiempito, y te ayudo con la traducción al guaraní, es eso lo que quieres?

No sabía que esto funcionara así. Digo, por la comunicación.

Añuã.
