Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Berdadera Ilesia de Chesús
Hi, I'm Willtron from Aragonese Biquipedia. I've finished the translation about Ilesia de Verdadera Chesús. Real name in Aragonese is Berdadera Ilesia de Chesús, because there's no 'V' in Aragonese and words are disordered, shouldn't be Ilesia de Berdadera Chesús (literally in English "Church of True (the church) Jesus", gender between name and adjetive don't match in this case), but Berdadera Ilesia de Chesús ("True Jesus Church"). You can see the article here. Regards --Willtron 16:05, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Tika Hāhi o Hehu
I have a few questions before I do the translation:
Who translated the name of the church into Māori - I ask because it is bad grammatically and because 'Hehu' is not the usual Māori spelling of 'Jesus'. The name at present means 'The Ecclesiastical Truth of Hehu'.
Do you want it to mean 'the true church of Jesus' or 'the church of the true Jesus'? Which is closer? Kahuroa 07:13, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

:I can try translating, but the problem is that most of the references are biblical, hence no equivalent exists in Hindi. Morover, even for things that can be translated, a sound knowledge of Christian religion is necessary as otherwise any misunderstanding will be termed blasphemous and people will go after my head. The texts in holy books such as the Bible are not just words, but thoughts that require deep insight. As I am myself not an expert in Christianity (being a Hindu), I would rather not attempt translating such important things as beliefs of the religion. Try finding an Indian Christian. He/she would be able to help. I can surely help with something more straightforward, like the introduction of the same article that only contained facts, and not beliefs. One more thing...in its present form, with half the words in english, and the rest in Hindi, it sounds like an attempt of humour rather than the beliefs of a religion. If you don's find anyone fast, consider deleting the part after the introduction. It will do more harm than good. -Ambuj Saxena (talk) 08:34, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Old English
Ok...first thing is that nouns take cases: subject (nominative), owner (genitive), indirect object (dative), direct object (accusative). These also require endings: -, -es, -e, -...And "of the" meaning "the wagon of the king" would be "se wægn þæs cyninges" where þæs means of the. There's also "of" in the sense of "from," in which case it's written "of þǣm" and the noun after has an e added on. I don't want to take up all of your page with OE grammar (it could take that...), but check out the article on Old English, and do a search for OE grammar. Hello, you left a request on my talk page on the Neapolitan wiki and then seemed to engage in an argument wih someone else over it. What's up? I believe Sabine's comment, which you translated in a rather aggressive manner, was in reaction to your leaving the request with three different people in quick succession. We are very busy setting up the Neapolitan wikipedia and yours is the first request for an article we've received. Some delay is to be expected. Furthermore, you perhaps overlooked that I did in fact began the article you requested several hours before you left your secondary commentary? Your translation of Sabine's comment on Gennysar's page was rather innacurate as well, it actually says, "What should we do? Maybe we could do a few lines at least...though perhaps not the whole page. What do you say?". Calm down a little. We have many other competing priorities and demands in our lives.--E. abu Filumena 03:06, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Article Request for the Ripuarian Wikipedia.
Hang on, we're just busy importing 3200+ Articles and 1000+ other pages from Ripuarian Test Wiki http://wikoelsch.dergruenepunk.de/ and I might give it a try afterwards. Yet I am not knowledgeable enough to properly create more than a :ksh:Shtümbshe (Stub), so please find someone else to translate the article. Valid lemma could be De „woohre Kirresh Jesu Krißti“ en Shiina (the "True Church of Jesus Christ" in China), or De „woohre Kirresh fun Jesus“ us Shiina (The "True Church of Jesus" [stemming] from China), „Dem Jesus sing woohre Kirresh“ (Shiina) or similar. You hardly can leave the quotes out without ridiculing yourself, but you can & should have redirect pages without quotes for easy finding and typing. Since the True Jesus Church community is utterly unknown in the Ripuarian Area as far as i can tell, it would be wise not to be too bold about "The True …" as this would be considered beyond extremely bad taste. Ripuarians do not believe that there is something like the religous truth. Despite most being predominantly catholic since 2000 years now, they rather say, Jede Jeck is anders, or Jedem Diershe sing Pläsiershe, or jeck loohß Jegg_e_laanß (Each Fool is different [from one another]], May everyone have his own [individual] pleasure[s], Let the other one have his/her way), etc. Thus a name like "The True …" would be recognised as something near to offensive - not literally so, since there simply was noone to be offended - but seen as so fastidiously demanding that it has to be nonsential, childish, and thus would be ignored, seen as irrelevant. People would tend to think, not say: If your own superstition and conceit please you, please be pleased on your own. and leave you alone. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
