Welcome!

Hello, Danwayne, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Spam

Repeated submission of inappropriate external links is Wikipedia:Spam. You have recently submitted the same links to several Toronto related categories. Also note (in case this should apply) that editing under multiple accounts or IP addresses is covered under Wikipedia:Sock puppetry.

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. --Brat32 20:37, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, please read WP:NOT Wikipedia is not a soapbox --Brat32 20:53, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated spam

Dan, consider this your second and final warning. Further addition of spam links to articles such as Toronto, David Miller and Tenant Protection Act will likely result in you being blocked from editing.

These links are not directly relevant to the articles, and therefore will be removed. This is a waste of your time, and the time of editors who have to clean up after you. Please stop it. thanks. Ground Zero | t 15:09, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Toronto, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Blocked

Due to this edit [1].

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated.Ben W Bell talk 06:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second block

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. t 18:09, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This block is a result of adding link spam to Ontario, Toronto, Residential Tenancies Act (Ontario) and David Miller (Canadian politician). Ground Zero | t 18:09, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
