Orphaned non-free media (File:EchoSign logo.png)

Thanks for uploading File:EchoSign logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:14, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Dare MattG

Sorry for the bummer of an article. I wish I could have made a serious impact for the large audience of MattG124. He really is, in my opinion, an inspiration to amateur filmmakers everywhere. I would have the utmost pleasure in doing the YouTube community a favor, as well as to Matt Gibson himself, by creating this page to commemorate his large legacy in what he has done. Thank you for your time, Richard Martinez Usepeandrichyequalsepicwin (talk) 23:20, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The most basic standard for inclusion in Wikipedia is not whether or not it exists, but notability - that is, whether or not the subject has received attention from the press or other reliable sources. Wikipedia is not a place to establish one's notability, and so an article that does not assert significance or importance can be speedily deleted. Σσς(Sigma) 20:30, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RFa

Since you recently went through an RfA, could you be so kind as to look at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Apteva 2 and see if anything is missing? If you wish you are free to nominate as well. Apteva (talk) 20:03, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't really feel in a position to help you there. You could perhaps ask at WP:RRN. Σσς(Sigma) 20:28, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Editing question

Hi! Do you know how to control the height of an image, just like 25px controls the width? I am struggling with this on another wiki and need help with this. Thanks Xtreme2000 (talk) 20:23, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, there isn't. Σσς(Sigma) 20:28, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
AFAIK it is determined by the aspect ratio, but html is generally supported so it should be possible to squish images using height and width parameters. Apteva (talk) 20:30, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it is possible. If you look at Wikipedia:Extended image syntax, you do it by xHEIGHTpx. Legoktm (talk) 20:35, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
