iMac problem

Hi Richard RJ, I seem to recall that you have stated to be a Mac user in some old posting. I need a new hard drive for my my iMac (SMART status is failing) and wonder if you can recommend a local Mac service provider - reliable / not too expensive - in Vienna. Current info gives cost estimates from €250 to a whopping €500 (the latter being 25% of the original price of the iMac). Greetings from Vienna to Vienna. Vietnamese translation

Are you looking for a professional translation of the Vietnamese story or are you just looking for the gist of it? If the latter, Google Translate would suffice. DHN (talk) 22:08, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a professional translator by any means and I use American English but I can give it a try. DHN (talk) 22:28, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Man Who Barked Like A Dog

Hello Viennese Waltz,

I haven't yet gotten the hang of finding my way around Wikipedia in search of information about this film, and I just happened to bumble into the link that brought me to your page. I have tried off and on for years with no success to research this film, and was pleased to see your response to my inquiry. I had tried, probably incorrectly, to contact the original responder, and today I noticed again that you also remember it. Is your recollection of it similar to mine?

So it was Peter Ustinov! Do you have any ideas about why there seems to be no trace of it on the Internet? It was not a low-budget production, which makes the lack of information all the more puzzling.

I'll appreciate hearing from you. As I don't trust my ability to retrieve your reply via Wikipedia, pleas email me at DnP@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Don (Curious in NYC)Curious in NYC (talk) 10:22, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You just commented on my pokemon question. I updated and clarified it some, so let's take it back to the desk, maybe you can help me out. Thanks, --174.79.50.132 (talk) 18:39, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Woman at Brandenburg Gate

I found her on this YouTube video at 2:50 - this piece misses out on the first part of the exchange. I'm astonished that it's not all over the web - it literally gave me goosebumps the first time that I saw it. If I find the full conversation, I'll get back to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Haul girl

Hello Viennese Waltz,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Haul girl for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jhona43 (talk) 16:55, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Baseball Bugs at AN/I

You have been mentioned in an active discussion at WP:AN/I. AlexTiefling (talk) 16:08, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Cut Hands has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable musical project, fails WP:NMUSIC.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 07:24, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

stanley kirkby

Hi Viennese Waltz, many thanks for your help, however, I made a mistake with my info, it's the dear irish mother of mine that has the chorus. Also there is a Francis Day & Hunter stamp on the label [This may be standard ]. Also there is a paper stamp on the label stating A.J.S. A.J.Stasny music company Ltd with what looks like the price of 3/4 -d. Hope this is of interest to you, again many thanks for your help. p.s.There are also indented numbers on the inner of the record of 7161N Rose Dreams & 7156S ON the other side! Hi Reg, as stated on reference desk entertainment page I'm not sure what more help I can be. It sounds like you have an interesting record and I advise you to hold onto it and contact an expert in old 78s to see what they have to say about it. You could also try posting on this website. --Viennese Waltz 08:33, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
