Speedy deletion nomination of Beverly S. Allen

Hello SheriWysong,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Beverly S. Allen for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 15:25, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of George Gibbs (ethnologist), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: George Gibbs (geologist). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:03, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 24

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John C. Frémont, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Pope. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to David H. Burr may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • for Panama from San Francisco).[http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=50199410])</ref> He retired from that position in 1857, becoming a full time cartographer<ref name=

Do not edit-war

Do not revert and edit war at Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971. Your edits altered sourced materials without adding new sources, you took out a source, and added one that is less reliable. We can discuss the accuracy and value of material at Talk:Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971, where I have opened a thread (see alsoWP:BRD), but in a GA-class article, we must proceed carefully. Montanabw(talk) 19:50, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is incorrect. I refute the assertion that the source I removed was less reliable. I added two sources by respected historians, as opposed to a source by an expert on horse care.

Under discussion at the article talk page. Montanabw(talk) 06:55, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. You have stated you are not a new user, so you clearly know the rules on edit-warring Montanabw(talk) 19:24, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Signing talk page posts

Add the four tildes to create a signature to your talk page edits; to continue not to is disruptive. Dreadstar 00:52, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And do not remove my comments as you did here Dreadstar 01:02, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't remove any comments! I don't know what's going on! Look at the history! I keep adding the tildes!Lynn Wysong 01:14, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
If you look at the link, you clearly removed my comment. While it may have been unintentional, the fact remains. Be more cautious with your edits in the future. Have you edited WP under any other accounts? Dreadstar 01:21, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No! And, I don't know how I removed your comment! Look at the history!Lynn Wysong 01:25, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Why is it, when I go back and look at the history, and click on "here" it takes me this link: http://www.riversideonline.com/services/cancer/colon/frequently-asked-questions.cfm ?Lynn Wysong 01:29, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
