Hi there. Looking at this further, I still don't see a username violation. The account is a WP:SPA which so far does not seem to want to contribute to the encyclopedia part of the project. But it doesn't seem disruptive as yet, so I don't think it needs a block. My $0.02. Cheers! -- Flyguy649 talk 05:09, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Nice job on Alpha Mom Jddphd 22:38, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did it because you spent a lot of time on a little piece of crap article that looked to be little more than an ad and made it actually something that was encyclopedic. In this case it wasn't the quantity or even the quality of the work (not that it wasn't good), but just the simple idea that you were bothered enough to turn something bad into something good. Rock on. Jddphd 01:49, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The royal "We"

Don't you know, "we" is the term that is only used by royalty? This must certainly, therefore, be a person of royal heritage, and thus we should not "deign" to remove the comments, yes?

I crack myself up... ArielGold 03:15, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. We are well aware of the Royal We. Henceforths, ye shall call me by mine rightful name...Lord Dreadstar, master of my domain...I was also thinking of them being the 'toddler' wee...wee wee wee, all the way home...;) You crack me up too...:-D Dreadstar 04:08, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We curtsy to your Royal Highness, M'Lord, and we just must say your ascot is most fetching! We are exceedingly pleased. I therefore, hereby award you the title of "Lord Dreadstar, Master of my domain, Earl of Fashion. And should you need any assistance, at any time, we would be most honored if we could assist you. Lady Ariel is most pleased with your approval! ArielGold 04:20, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thou art most gracious, M'Lady Ariel. I most happily accept the title thou hast bestowed upon my humble self. Thine heart is truly placed in the most appropriate position, at the very core of thine name, for all to behold! Mine ascot is most pleased to have been the focus of your divine attention, and mine sword is most jealous...!
I am yours to command, shouldest thou have need of mine prowess with the edit summary of justice...! - Lord Dreadstar, Master of My Doman and Earl of Fashion 04:59, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, lol, I just have to get out of the whole "in voice" thing for a second to just tell you that I rarely truly laugh in RL when reading anything online, or watching TV or what have you, but honestly, your last reply made me literally and figuratively, laugh out loud.
I simply could not be more amused! And seriously, I meant it, although I doubt there's anything you'd ever need silly little insignificant me for, I'm more than happy to assist in any way you need, and I'll certainly take you up on your offer of assistance should I ever run into a wall that is only permeable by the Mighty and Powerful Lord Dreadstar, Master of my Domain, Earl of Fashion, Keeper of the Keys of Justice. Your most humble servant, LadyAriel 05:08, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why thank you, ArielGold! That is one of the finest compliments I've received..it made me laugh out loud with delight! It's actually kinda rare that I can use my sense of humor on Wikipedia, in RL I'm known for my prowess with the dagger of delight and the lance of laughter...;) Methinks I have the comedian bug.
I must admit that most of mine "thee's and thou's" are from The Mighty Thor- god of thunder, and Sir Mandorallan- the mightiest knight on life! And thou certainly are not silly nor insignificant, my sweet golden one..thou art a pleasure to hammer-down the vandals with!

IRC

I see you've usurped Dreadstar. Funny how I've never seen you under either name on IRC and you're the one who got me into it. Rlevse 18:27, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had to leave while one or both of our connections on IRC was lost. Didn't mean to leave without saying goodbye. Very Nice chatting. Take care. Rlevse 19:38, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! How come neither of you talks to me on IRC? I'm on there every dang day! I guess maybe I don't hang out in the "cool kids' corner", huh? lol. (Yes, of course, IRC name is ArielGold.) I'm always in cvn-wp-en, countervandalism, and the help channel. Haven't seen either one of you in any of those, though. ~*Pout*~ ArielGold 20:09, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help

Thanks for reverting vandalism on Larrys Creek on October 22. I appreciate your help keeping the article presentable while it was linked on the Main Page very much, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 20:22, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks also for your kind words - I was a bit surprised as the article had never been vandalized (despite its stunning popularity ;-) ) before it was WP:TFA. Several useful edits were made though (two by IP addresses), and the vandalism didn't last long, thanks to the efforts of many, yourself included. Yours, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 00:44, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, yup that's me, now you know who you are talking to (the human) but if you want to talk to Ellie the pony I can relay the message. I hope you are well and it was good to hear from you :-) Bananas'n'Cream 03:15, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bah, you're not sleeping at all! I just saw you on AIV. :P Anyway, I'll idle in the room, I tend to leave my computer on, even when I'm not there. Talk to you soon! GlassCobra 06:31, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't sleep. You still around, my Dear Lord Dreadstar? ArielGold 08:12, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize

I'm really sorry. I have been downright lazy in getting back to you about your excellent help with List of United States Supreme Court cases, volume 113. Thank you so much for your dedication to making the article work as a functioning list. I myself have been somewhat lackadaisical in creating new U.S. Supreme Court Case articles, assuming that they would just eventually all be completed, but you've put in the elbow grease. Kudos.--Cdogsimmons 14:01, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In recognition of your efforts on Wikipedia and for dedication to law oriented edits, I, Cdogsimmons, award you the Society Barnstar.

Erotica socks

Thanks for blocking them -- could you unprotect Erotica as well, so it can be "fixed" now that the two who were edit warring are gone? Thanks! Gscshoyru 19:16, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Protection level reduced to semi. Good job on the reporting! Dreadstar 19:27, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually... check the history. That was edgarde that fixed it up nicely, not me. But I know much better how to make these now, if necessary. And thanks again! Gscshoyru 19:29, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, well, then..um..semi-good job..how's that?...;) Just joking, your efforts are well worth the compliment..you're a fantastic vandal-fighter and a most excellent editor. Dreadstar 19:32, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Lol... and thanks for the compliments! Well... except for the editor part. I'm not really an editor... yet. I would like to be one, though. Eventually I will start improving things, instead of reverting to the way they were. Gscshoyru 19:35, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh...

Want to go have a chat with Nathweni? Please. (Not even going to go there) This is the person who really stirred the pot earlier. In some respects, the whole kafuffel with B'n'C may really be more attributable to this fellow. BTW, you and Ariel did a good job of cooling me down, and I think B'n'C too. Anyone who doesn't sucumb to the combined charm of you two is almost certainly a true troll. Montanabw(talk) 21:16, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just popping in for a quick note, I saw the little message my dear Dreadstar removed, and I'm sure you know this, but I'll just remind you to brush it off, don't let it bother you, you're an awesome editor and great person, and you don't need to respond to that kind of incivility. Ignoring it will be the best way to go, and I think it is great to see you an Banana working together on these cool pages! ~*Smile*~ ArielGold 21:24, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Trying. Words in black and white are rather harsh. The terminology bothers me much less IRL. Somehow the spoken word just leaves me saying, "yeah, yeah, yeah...back atcha" Don't know why this stuff bugs me more here. Permanency, perhaps. Sigh. Montanabw(talk) 21:44, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And, by the way, thank you both. Montanabw(talk) 21:46, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes indeed, and it's good to have support. I calm down remarkably fast when I am no longer alone in the universe... or wikiverse... Montanabw(talk) 22:57, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And isn't [THIS] interesting? (Sighing again)... Montanabw(talk) 23:32, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for looking into the vandal. Totally different entities after me today, I think. If I ever get tempted to be an admin, remind me of your world for the last couple of days and then give me a wikislap! (What's that link to being slapped upside the head with a trout? Yeah, that one) Montanabw(talk) 03:42, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Archives?

Let the trumpets sound our Lord Dreadstar!

Hi Dreadstar, Or is it now the custom to address you as simply LORD?

Ok, here goes: blatblat blat BLAT blat blat!!!

M'lord, I was wondering if you could figure out where all the archives on the Electronic voice phenomena talk page went? My connection speed is sooo slow. There is something seriously wrong, because the old ones don't show. Perhaps as an admin you have a way to show all files under that name, Electronic voice phenomena/ you know?

If you just put a list of files here, I can insert them in the archive links. ——Martinphi (Talk Ψ Contribs) 23:06, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Dreadstar, you're sure fast (: Don't know how those got lost. ——Martinphi (Talk Ψ Contribs) 00:56, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
