Request reason:

My account is blocked. Please check my account for my contributions in Wiki. I was one of earlier contributors in the article of "University of Management and Technology" and have good knowledge in this university. I made one edit in good faith two days ago. While it seems that my edit supported Mgtguru's contribution in this article, but I am not Mgtguru. Please consider unblock.

Decline reason:

You are a confirmed WP:SOCK of Mgtguru. "I supported Mgtguru's contribution in this article, but I am not Mgtguru." It doesn't matter if you aren't Mgtguru if there's a close overlap, and that close overlap has been established. Yamla (talk) 17:33, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Yamla picked up my words to justify the block. I wonder if Yamla have read my reason carefully and looked into the situation and the evidence as I requested.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 18:34, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thanks for the explanation, k6ka. I made one edit in good faith. I had no intention to disrupt or harm an article. I read and understand Wiki block policy if an overlap appears as a sock. Please consider my unblock request.

Decline reason:

You need to provide an explanation as to why this account used the same IP (more than one IP, actually) and the same computer to edit the same article as User:Mgtguru. That explanation will need to be more plausible than the one we currently have, which is that this account is a sockpuppet. Yunshui  08:48, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thanks for the explanation, Yunshui. I am working and living in a university campus community. The IP addresses I use are all shared IP addresses (i.e., I don't have a personal IP address). The computer I use to log into my Wiki account is a corporate computer which other users can use also. Please kindly check or have other Wiki administrator to check if other innocent users are being blocked at the same time due to share same IP addresses or corporate computers which is common in a campus environment and community. Let me know if there is any other information you need to resolve the issue. Regards,

Decline reason:

That's possible. But it still doesn't explain why you both made the same exact edit. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:49, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

NinjaRobotPirate - Regarding your comment, please refer my reasons in above discussions. I made one good faith edit in the article. While my edit was the same as Mgtguru's because I supported this editor's contribution. But, I am not Mgtguru. My edit represented my independent editorial view as always. Also, I addressed the questions in what might have happened in the overlap technically. Again, I am asking to unblock my account.

You both made the same edit to the same article, and are editing from the same IP on the same computer. You both registered in 2008, and haven't picked back up until 6 Jan 2018, on the exact same article within 45 mins of each other. I see a lot of behavioral similarities as well. I'm sure you can see how all these coincidences seem a little far fetched to an outside observer. SQLQuery me! 18:37, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thanks, NinjaRobotPirat. I was traveling out of the town with a very busy working schedule so I was not able to continue my appeal request. To address your questions: 1) Yes I can see that we both worked on the same article in "View History". However, the people work on the same article may agree or disagree - in this article, I happened to be in agreement with Mgtguru. As said before, my agreement was a reflection of my independent editorial opinion. 2) I think that I have addressed the issue in the possibility of having same IP address and same computer above. As far as IP goes, I asked our IT guys in IP address coverage to learn that a large number of people, faculty, staff and students and families in this area shared same university's IP address so I am not the only one using an IP address. 3) I have no idea that both Mgtguru and I registered as Wiki users in 2008 so I don't know how to address this question. 4) Yes, I have not done much edits on the Wiki, but when I noticed someone made edits I disagree with, I felt compiled to make a contribution to reflect the university I know well. As I am not Mgtguru nor we have talked, so I cannot address why 45 minutes apart is an issue. 5) I am very curious about behavior similarity, I believe that this is the first time we both edited the same article. By the way, I am not an active editor, but I used Wiki for teaching and learning purpose a lot. Is Mgtguru the same? What are Mgtguru's interested in editing? Let me know if you have more questions. Regards, Bikerun

Prospective administrator(s) reviewing this unblock request should apprise themselves of this sockpuppet investigation. Flickotown (talk) 18:49, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I notice that you haven't actually addressed the issue of the same computer being used -- the same physical device -- for exactly the same edit within 45 minutes. Where is this "corporate computer" located? Why do so many people have access to it? How did Mgtguru get there so quickly?
Finally, an issue which I don't think has been addressed: what's your relationship to the University of Management and Technology? What's Mgtguru's? How is it that both of you have maintained an eight-year-long relationship with the university that also happens to track the timing of both of your interests in editing Wikipedia with the same text? --Calton | Talk 01:57, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Flickotown - You have a conflict of interest as my accuser. Why are you so afraid of me to appeal to restore my account? If you are the one who was once again the accuser of an IP address as "sockpuppet" at this sockpuppet investigation, I am wondering why you are so afraid the users at a university community that has a shared IP address? And I wonder why you created your user account "Flickotown" on 23 Dec 2018 and less than 2 weeks, you became the most combating user on this university Wiki page fighting other editors, and trying to block other users? [User:Bikerun|Bikerun]] (talk) 18:13, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Bikerun

Calton - Thanks for asking questions. I believe that I have addressed all the questions you asked in above talks including these technically ones. Bikerun (talk) 18:37, 3 February 2019 (UTC)--Bikerun[reply]

You haven't addressed anything I just asked you. AT ALL. Don't pretend you have.
Flickotown - You have a conflict of interest as my accuser.
You have an entirely wrong and self-serving definition of "conflict of interest". And speaking of which: what's yours? --Calton | Talk 22:55, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Calton - I am not sure that you are trying to help me or to help Flickotown, my accuser, on my Talk page. Could you please let Flickotown to address my questions? As I was being blocked because of Flickotown's accusation, I have every right to ask questions to Flickotown who shown up on my Talk page to engage a Talk. In addition, why you are so angry in your Talk to me, and so eager to judge? It seems to me that you decided to side with Flickotown, so you are blind to all my explanations since 10 January. I wonder if you know Flickotown, a user that was created on 23 Dec 2018? Why this tag team display? Bikerun (talk) 23:25, 3 February 2019 (UTC) Bikerun[reply]

I don't know who Flickotown is or what he or she does or did. In fact, I don't give shits for any of that, so spare me the garbage "tag team" deflection. My questions have nothing to do with Flickotown.
so you are blind to all my explanations since 10 January
Once again, you haven't explained bupkis generally nor answered my questions specifically. Pretending you have isn't your best move.
why you are so angry in your Talk to me
I'm not angry -- yet -- just more and irritated at your clumsy attempts at deflection and continued refusal to answer direct questions. Which is an answer to my questions, really.
I have every right to ask questions to Flickotown
No, not really, but since all you've been doing is wasting people's time, I'm going to suggest that your talk page be locked unless you stop it. Tell your boss that he's going to have to try a different approach to PR management.--Calton | Talk 04:47, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This whole whiny conflict of interest as my accuser, whose side are you on, dodging the issues thread is wholly unconvincing you are about 0.5 mm from having talkpage access removed. Please address the issues concisely and succinctly, and without complaining about other editors. OFFS. This is a WP:checkuser block. Please read the pertinent part of the WP:GAB for more information. So far, your arguments have been wholly unconvincing so remember-- 0.5mm. User:Dlohcierekim User talk:Dlohcierekim 06:18, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No longer 0.5 mm... talkpage access is revoked. There's no reason for administrators to waste any more time on this; the abuse of multiple accounts is obvious and evident, and in any case, appeals need to be made from the master account. Yunshui  07:59, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
