Hello?
Can anyone hear me?
What is this place?
–––
Oh, right. Wikipedia.
–––
Good morning, good evening, and good afternoon, everyone.
I'm trying to make the world a better place, one edit at a time.
Biography
Hello. I'm a Wikipedia editor from Chicago, Illinois. I'm greatly interested in politics and true crime; therefore, I tend to edit articles of these subjects most frequently, with contributions ranging from minor edits to rewriting and expanding entire articles. Occasionally, I write articles on these topics from scratch.
I also enjoy adding infoboxes to articles and fixing the formatting of pre-existing infoboxes. Projects of mine have also included fixing bare URLs and adding citations.
I graduated from John C. Dore Elementary School as valedictorian, then graduated from St. Laurence High School with a standard degree, as well as an IB diploma. I'm currently pursuing an education at Elmhurst University, majoring in computer science with a minor in multimedia journalism.
If you're wondering where my username comes from, look no further than the Super Mario Galaxy duology. Collecting the 120 Green Stars in Super Mario Galaxy 2 was my favorite part of the game. I also have a newsletter on Substack named after a location from Paper Mario; I'm fond of that series as well. I also named my sandbox "Green Star Haven", mainly because I couldn't think of another creative name.
In addition to video games, I'm also interested in (and passionate about) writing, typing, coding, etc.
Here's two of my favorite rap verses, for some reason. Coincidentally, they both involve burgers and fries.
"Who am I? I'm that guy. I'm the burger with the fries."
"We ordered two Big Macs and two large fries with Cokes."
Over 93% of my edits are mainspace edits, and over 99% of all my edits are live edits. For more information about my Wikipedia contributions and activity, see here.
For a complete list of the articles I've published on Substack, see here. For a list of all articles I've written for Elmhurst University's student paper, see here.
Suggestions
If you're looking for something to do on Wikipedia, I have a few suggestions.
- If you have the ability to do so, create articles in need of creation.
- Rewrite and expand articles in need of rewritting and expansion, otherwise known as stubs.
- Update articles in need of updating.
- Skim articles for grammatical errors and typos. Copyediting is important too!
- Add infoboxes to biographical articles, or correct the formatting of pre-existing infoboxes. Check here for suggestions.
- Go to the list of new pages and check the most recently created articles for spelling, grammar, formatting, etc. A good number of these articles will lack references, a DEFAULTSORT value, and/or categories. You can add some yourself, or add a template or two to alert other editors if you're not sure what to do.
- Welcome new users, providing them with information about the basics of editing Wikipedia.
- Give barnstars to users in recognition of major or even minor contributions.
- Check the recent changes page and thank users for their contributions. It's nice to feel appreciated!
- If you're able to, create your own user page. Add on to your user page as desired. Create a userbox tower and award yourself a ribbon.
- Create your own sandbox.
- Customize your signature.
- Fix bare URLs and other reference formatting errors. For a list of articles that contain at least one bare URL, see here.
- Add italics to the titles of books, newspapers, magazines, etc.
- Work on this page.
- ???

Notable contributions

- Cleaned up my high school's Wikipedia page. (I don't consider this to be a conflict of interest, since I've graduated and have no other reason to edit the article than simply trying to help out my alma mater.)
- Promoted Mario Party DS to good article status.
- Added information about a deadly 2017 prison escape attempt to the Pasquotank Correctional Institution article.
