Dominique Molina is the President and Founder of the American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches.[2][3] [4] With over 13 years of experience as a certified public accountant (CPA), Molina has worked with many top business owners and investors using proactive tax planning to help them keep more of what they earn. Molina is a public speaker, , teacher, best-selling author, and mentor to tax professionals across the United States.[2][3] Molina began teaching and writing books to make individuals and tax professionals aware of government tax breaks and loopholes that most tax professionalsmiss.[5][6][7] She is best known as the co-author of three books, Tax Breaks of the Rich and Famous (2013), Secrets of a Tax Free Life (2012) and Breaking the Tax Code (2011).[4][8][9] She appears in print, television, and radio programs, including CNN Money and is the host of the popular podcast, Business $ense, a weekly program for business owners and investors.[10][4][5][11][12][13] Molina was named one of the 40 Most Influential Accountants of 2011 in the CPA Practice Advisor Magazine and a recipient of the 2012 Women’s Emerging Leader award from the California Society of CPAs.[14][15][16][17]

Dominique Molina received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.[2]

Career

Molina began her career working for a CPA firm in San Diego.[2] She then founded and managed a full service tax-services and accounting firm based in San Diego, AccountOnIt, for seven years.[2]

In 2009, Molina co-founded The American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches with Ed Lyon, JD.[2][18][6] The AICTC is a “non-profit group based in San Diego that educates accountants, lawyers, and other tax professionals” in “proactive tax planning.”[18][2] Individuals who graduate from the institute receive training, tools, and support, as well as the Certified Tax Coach (CTC) designation.[2] AICTC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and the IRS.[19][20]

In 2010 Molina began speaking for various professional organizations, including CPE Link the SCORE foundation and in 2012 as a discussion leader for the AICPA.(SC) (AICPA)(CPE)

Dominique Molina is the co-author of three books on taxation and accounting.(CTC) In 2011, Molina co-wrote Breaking the Tax Code, a best-selling book that discusses government loopholes, bonuses, and other ways of reducing what an individual owes in taxes. In 2011, CPA Practice Advisor Magazine named Molina one of the 40 Most Influential Accountants of the year. (CPA)

Also in 2011, Molina was nominated for the the National Association of Women Business Owners Trailblazer Award, to recognize her for her accomplishments in building a business while devoting time and resources to the community.(PRW)

In 2011 and 2012, Molina was accepted into the National Academy of Best Selling Authors.(QU)

In 2012, Molina joined the San Diego State University Alumni’s BAN (Business Alumni Network) Board of Directors. (CR)(SDS)
