Ethan Bearman is an IT Consultant, entrepreneur, radio talk show host, and writer.[1][2][3][4] He is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at TECA Data Safe and owner of the Ethan Bearman Company.[2]

Early Childhood and Education

In elementary school, Ethan Bearman became the youngest ever in the High Potential program.[1] By the eighth grade, he was selected for the trial class of the University of Minnesota Talented Youth Mathematics Project.[1] Bearman attended Minnetonka High School and graduated in 1990.[4][1] Following high school, he attended the University of Minnesota but dropped out to work on his first consulting business.[1] He has since returned to college to finish his bachelor’s degree.[1]

Career

Ethan Bearman began Byte Size Consulting, his first consulting business, while attending the University of Minnesota in 1992.[1][3] He served in the IT consulting industry for seven years, implementing ERP systems and working for larger consulting firms.[1] He also became the director at a publicly traded software company.[1] In 2002, Bearman did private consulting related to performance tuning and systems architecture.[1] In 2005, along with Tom and Cindy Fischer, he co-founded TECA Data Safe, a disaster recovery and data hosting company that launched a system called Rapid Rebound.[1] Bearman went on to become the director of IBM Practice at Oracular and Partner Services and Alliances at Fourth Shift Corporation and a senior consultant at Orion Consulting.[2][4]

Bearman is a published writer, contributing to radio industry trade magazines and newspapers including Talkers, Good Times, GCN Live, Patch and the Santa Cruz Sentinel.[1] His articles are on a variety of subjects including politics, science, technology, and current events.[4][1]

Ethan Bearman is also the host of the nationally syndicated talk show, the Ethan Bearman Show on the Genesis Communications Network.[1][4] On the caller-driven show, Bearman addresses current events and politics with a nonpartisan approach.[1][4] He discusses veteran’s issues frequently, hosting segments on the topic almost weekly.[1] Bearman has interviewed author/blogger Robert Spencer, actor and director Lou Diamond Phillips, MSNBC analyst Rula Jebreal, and former Mr. America Kim Allyn.[2][4] Bearman also hosts a local show called KSCO Presents, based in Santa Cruz, California. His local show concentrates on state and local political issues, interviewing several local officials.[1][4][2] Bearman’s media personality extends beyond his own radio shows and articles, appearing as a guest on different media outlets including The Glen Biegel Show and WNEW 99.1 FM with Nancy Lyons.[2][5]
