The Minotaur is an opera in 13 scenes by Harrison Birtwistle to a libretto by David Harsent; it premiered on 15 April 2008 at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, which also commissioned the work. The running time of the work is 2 hours 50 minutes with one interval.
