Taylor Swift discography
A female with curly blond hair faces forward in amazement. Her body, clothed by a gold sequin sundress, is in a rigid position: her feet, clothed by cowboy boots, are placed close next to each other, her right arm is held next to her hips, and left arm is held high into the air into a fist. Her surrounding is a stage with intense blue lighting.

The discography of American country music recording artist Taylor Swift, consists of two studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, two extended plays (EP), eleven singles, six promotional singles, one video album, and twelve music videos. Swift signed a record deal with Big Machine Records in 2005 and released her the eponymous debut album, Taylor Swift, the following year. In the United States, Taylor Swift peaked at number five on the Billboard 200,[1] and number one Top Country Albums,[2] and was certified four times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[3] Taylor Swift marked the longest stay on the Billboard 200 by any album released in the 2000s.[4] The album produced five singles, all of which charted within the top forty in the United States[5] and were certified platinum by the RIAA.[6] Swift followed with the release of the EPs Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection (2007) and Beautiful Eyes (2008), which peaked at number twenty and at number nine on the Billboard 200, respectively.[1]

Swift released her second studio album, Fearless, in 2008. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 for eleven non-consecutive weeks,[7] became the best-selling album of both 2008 and 2009 in the United States,[8] and was certified six times platinum by the RIAA.[3] Thirteen songs from Fearless charted on the top forty of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record for the most top forty entries from a single album.[9] Fearless also produced five singles. "Love Story" (2008), the first single from Fearless, became Swift's best-charting song, peaking at number one in the Australian Singles Chart[10] and being certified triple platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).[11] Fearless' third single, "You Belong with Me", became Swift's best-charting single in the United States; it peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100[5] and was certified double platinum by the RIAA.[6] "Fearless" (2010), the fifth single from Fearless, became the first single released after being certified gold by the RIAA as a result of digital downloads.[12] Swift won the Billboard Music Award for "Artist of the Year" in 2009 because of the chart success she enjoyed on Billboard charts during the year.[13] Swift obtained her biggest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2010 with "Today Was a Fairytale" from the Valentine's Day soundtrack.[14] In the United States, Swift has sold more than ten million records and twenty million digital downloads.[8]
