It's not written in Wikipedia that doesn't mean it's not 2000 years old... Don't argue with me you're not even Indian... [[User:Piedpiper186|Piedpiper186]] ([[User talk:Piedpiper186|talk]]) 08:51, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

Requesting removal of a minor part in the article

There is a certain part in the article "it's origins are ,however, Indo-Islamic" because in every other Wikipedia article in which chattris are mentioned they are considered to be a Hindu architectural element and I can also provide a non Wikipedia based reliable source for that. Thank you. Piedpiper186 (talk) 19:42, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

??Well please do so (here) - other sources give them an Islamic origin. Hindu architecture is not noted for early use of the dome! Johnbod (talk) 01:47, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Chattris were Hindu architectural elements but Persian sultans of india and later mughal were quick to adapt it because it resembled wooden canopies of Persia however there was a difference between both of them... Piedpiper186 (talk) 10:26, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blogs are not reliable sources. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 10:36, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a WP:RS - it appears to be a student or amateur essay, by someone who thinks Indo-Islamic architecture began with the Mughals after 1526, instead of being several centuries old by that point. Johnbod (talk) 14:26, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
