Rebecca Hickenbottom (née Curci) (born June 16, 1973 in Tampa, Florida) was a member of World Championship Wrestling (WCW)'s Nitro Girls, and is the wife of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Shawn Michaels (Michael Shawn Hickenbottom).
Curci joined WCW's Nitro Girls as Nitro Girl Whisper in 1997. Her signature move was to put a finger to her lips at the end of each routine, in keeping with the name "Whisper". She left WCW in 1999 to marry Shawn Michaels. They were married on March 31, 1999, at the Graceland Wedding Chapelin Las Vegas.
Appearances
- On July 17, 1998, Curci debuted on WCW Monday Nitro with the WCW Nitro Girls, led by Kimberly Page.
- She made a brief appearance at Wrestlemania 22. After Michaels had finished his No Holds Barred match against Vince McMahon, he spotted her in the crowd as he was walking back up the rampway, and kissed her.
- She has been seen with Michaels at the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremonies.
- At WWE Judgment Day 2007, after Michaels (kayfabe)passed out during his match with Randy Orton, she ran into the ring to be by his side and cried hysterically. [1]
