Upon discovering in his medical notes that Gregory has a son - Murray - J.D., despite Dr. Cox's contrary advice, sets out to reunite the pair. Carla and Jordan advise Elliot to make more use of her femininity when trying to get ahead in the workplace. Unfortunately Elliot uses her wiles to cut in line in front of the man who will later be interviewing her for a job in another hospital. J.D. finds Murray and convinces him to donate a kidney, however, they then discover that Murray was adopted though he is still a good match as a donor. After further convincing, Murray agrees to go ahead with the surgery.

==Quotes==
*'''Dr. Cox''': I love this moment so much I want to have sex with it.
*'''Dr. Cox''': This moment is so great, I'd cheat on that other moment from before, marry this one, and raise a family of tiny little moments.
* (After Murray crashes his plane into the ground) '''J.D.''': What an odd sized explosion.
*'''J.D.''': Maybe I got too involved with Murray and his fake / real dad, but as I watched Gregory serenade a clearly uncomfortable Murray, I realized something. If Murray could look past his dad's imperfections and appreciate all the time he'd given him, maybe I owed Dr. Cox a thank you for the same thing.
*'''Gregory''': Hey good looking what've you got cooking how about cooking something up for me. (He stops singing, Murray looks relieved)
*'''Gregory''': Hey sweet baby....... (Murray cups his face)
