Marcos Aoás Corrêa, commonly known as Marquinhos, (born 14 May 1994 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian footballer currently playing as a Central Defender for Serie A club Roma.
Career
The young Marquinhos, who is a player for Corinthians, is considered one of the most promising youngsters at the club. Renowned for his versatility, the defender always benefits his side with his skill and vigour. The young athlete already has 10 years experience in the lower categories of Corinthians and since 2010, has been called up by the Brazil U17 squad. In 2012 Marquinhos was in the Corinthians squad for the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior 2012.
AS Roma
In July 2012 he was signed by AS Roma. He made his debut on September 16, in a 2-3 loss against Bologna.
