Loren Galler-Rabinowitz (born January 19, 1986, in Boston, MA) is an American ice dancer. She is the 2004 U.S. Ice Dancing Bronze Medalist with David Mitchell.
Career
Galler-Rabinowitz began skating at the age of two. She first competed with partner David Mitchell. They won the 1999 North American Novice Challenge Skate in Toronto, the United States Novice Championships and Eastern Sectional Novice Championship in 2000, and were the Junior Ice Dance champions and Eastern Sectional Junior champions in 2002. The duo placed fourth at the 2003 Junior World Championships.
The pair won the pewter medal at the 2003 US Nationals and a bronze medal at the 2004 United States Figure Skating Championships, but missed the following year's national championship due to Mitchell's shoulder injury for a torn labrum. They also competed on the Grand Prix and at the Four Continents Championships.
Galler-Rabinowitz is currently a student at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. She graduated from the Buckingham Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge in 2004.
Her partnership with Mitchell ended following the 2006 Nationals.
