Lil Keed is an American rapper based in Atlanta and signed to Young Thug's YSL Records. His song "Nameless" reached number 46 on the Billboard Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart.[1][2]

Early life

Prior to rapping, Keed admitted to doing "hot stuff" for money and after the death of his close friend, Keed started taking rapping seriously in 2016.[3] Keed has 6 brothers and 1 sister; he is the elder brother of rapper Lil Gotit. Despite his parents separating at an early age, both were present in Keed's upbringing. Being close to studio, Keed would record music almost on a daily basis. He was inspired by listening to music by Young Thug, Peewee Longway, and Big Bank Black.[4]

Keed also revealed that he was an avid dancer in his early days. Career

In July 2018, Keed released his debut mixtape Trapped on Cleveland 2.[6] In December 2018, Keed released another mixtape, Keed Talk To Em. Featured artists included 21 Savage, Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty, Lil Durk, and others.

In March 2019, Keed featured in his younger brother Lil Gotit's single "Drop The Top".[7]
