Kick is an upcoming 2013 Bollywood comedy action thriller film starring Salman Khan and Angela Jonsson. It is directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.The film is now in pre-production stage. Filming of Kick will start in end of 2012 or early 2013 after the commencement of Dabangg 2 shooting. It is the remake of 2009 Telugu blockbuster Kick which was eventually remade in Tamil as Thillalangadi.The film right was bought in 2009 by the producer.[3] The film was suppose to be directed by Shirish Kunder but he opted out after the debacle of his Second Directorial Joker and the producer Sajid Nadiadwala replaced him. This will be his first directing venture. [4] [5][6]

In late 2011 Nadiadwala announced his intention to remake the film Kick which he decided to direct after Shirish Kunder and Kabir Khan backed out to direct.[7] Nadiadwala received an invitation from the Korea Tourism Organization, and after his team visited South Korea in September 2011, he signed an agreement to shoot portions of this project and others in that country.[8] Salman Khan and Angela Jonsson have signed on to act in the film, now to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. On October 26, 2012, Chetan Bhagat was announced to be writer of Kick.
Sajid Nadiadwala is hiring services of foreign action directors for Kick and would be filming in Korea.[9]
